Story Time With E

You asked for it, you got it (well not really, but who cares...)! So the forum has this neat little chatbox widget that can be activated and deactivated at will. So, much like an ejector seat, we thought it was worthwhile to explore every function at our fingertips. At delightfully random moments, I will be activating the live chat (and deactivating it) for purposes of some casual live chat. It will be a test at first of course, we will see the response. The same forum guidelines will apply as well of course, so if it devolves it will invoke wrath .

When the chat is open for business, I will make an announcement on this thread!

Cool! I remember we had something like that on the RP forum though it didn't get much use. Next thing you'll be joining the skype chat

We had something similar on another forum i was part of once. It was a much simpler way of communicating. Looking forward to it.

After reading (clearly not participating in/encouraging) some of the recent threads I can say that this might be nice as a substitute for some of the wackiness in off-topic where clearly everyone is just hitting F5 repeatedly to see the next comment

That's kind of my approach to this. With so much familiarity, many folks are very stream of consciousness when it comes to dialogue. Rather than always spam a thread or get sidetracked, I thought it would be a fun outlet to diffuse some of that energy.

where in the upper right? All i see is a calender and keywords!

And why so much clutter at top of forum on both sides?

It can be fast, furious, and chaotic!! But it is a very cool idea! It gives "everyone" in the forum a chance to talk with each other in real time. For that reason alone...IT"S AWESOME!!! Nice job FexDS and Emergence!! Thanks
