I tried the demo... It sucked. It's not Devil May Cry. I'm hoping Capcom goes back to the real deal soon.

You seriously think capcom are going to go back to cool dante? If Donte May cry sells well they'll continue it. If it sells poorly they'll scrap the whole franchise.

You're implying that it being from 4chan has anything to do with its credibility. And can you drop a link to where they confirm its fake? Because replying to rumours in the first place is extremely suspicious.

Wade, to a good amount of people 4chan is not really a respected Source.

I really doubt it will sell well... Ninja Theory often gets good reviews and abysmal sales, and they managed to really piss off a good deal of the fanbase with their "Dante isn't cool, you guys don't know what cool is" approach. I am hoping the title flunks silly

As I've said, friend of a friend. Though it wouldn't surprise me if the story did have those elements. After all, they've already bitten out of the rotten nephilim apple, as well as the 'order' apple.

I take leaks on 4chan to be true, as long as I have a copious amount of salt to go with it. Stuff like the ME3 ending being leaked months before-hand makes me more inclined to believe.

Sadly, for every true fan they pissed off they attracted many more with the "hurf durf le government is ebil XDDD" story and edgy teen appeal. Plus Crapcom have marketed this thing to hell and back.

You've got to understand the image the site has though. While there are some interesting things on it to most people it is just the internet hate machine.

When the boss in the demo is just face first on the platform, what are you supposed to do? I've just been sitting here for ten minutes and I tried going to the one other platform and pressing every button. It keeps mention angel lift, but I have no idea what to do.

Devil pull. R2+Square on default settings. You can also parry his swipe attacks by hitting normal attack(triangle) at the right time. That turns the boss fight into a Gwyn type situation though.

That's weird, i've been hearing things about glitches in the demo but haven't experienced even a slight glitch. I've played through 10 times just messin with combos and to SSS son of sparda.

It is with out a doubt not DMC3, and the combat mechanics are very different. I still think they are good, and it's extremely fun to play. There is just so much hate from fans that their opinions are completely biased. It really should have just been its own IP, but that is Capcoms doing. I'm not going into it expecting DMC 3.2, i'm expecting a good H&S game. That is what i've been getting so far. I guess i'm just not as upset that this isn't exactly like 1/3/4, cause i can go play those whenever i want. I don't think people get that developers don't want to just make the same game over and over again only with slight tweaks and improved graphics.

Actually most developers do like to make the same game over and over with slight tweaks, or at least the publishers and producers do. Because that is minimal effort for a good pay out.

I will admit, they should have with out a doubt kept lock on. That is a bit strange. Maybe make R3 lockon.

Yeah that was really frustrating, because I had no idea which enemy I was targeting. Maybe I should try son of sparda mode though, because so far on hard just pressing one button over and over kills everything. I imagine Sparda is the actual game?

Well i think publishers like to repeatedly release games that made them money. Actually it seems to me that is why some of the best developers at Capcom left, cause they were being forced to create the same game over and over. That's taking a lot of their creative freedoms away, which i personally would not like.

Son of Sparda adds additional enemies that are not in the other modes, idk i'm not defending the game anymore. I know it's good, and i will enjoy it. That's enough for me. This actually is a really old demo, it's from last June almost a year old. I'm very curious to see what else they have done. Unfortunately a lot of fans have been actively trolling their facebook and live streams. So their PR department must be scared to even release any info.

I'm fairly open minded, and not judging this game by its name but by how much i enjoy it. It's actually laughable how serious and angry gamers have become. What happened to just playing games and enjoying them? If you don't enjoy it, don't play it. Doesn't seem overly complicated.

If you want a good H&S, than stick to metal gear rising. The demo for that is far more entertaining than this demo.

I have yet to play the Rising demo, cause i already own both ZOE games and am not buying anymore HD packs. I plan on playing and most likely buying both, cause H&S is one of my favorite genres.

Well sometimes badly designed games can be fun provided the person enjoys the genre.

Just Cause 2 is really poorly designed with incredibly easy gameplay and barely a story, each mission starts in exactly the same way with very little variation, but I still enjoy the game a lot. Even though I shouldn't. Maybe this will be like that, some sort of underlying charm or hook that ends up drawing people in.
