my lvl 100 caster kills every thing in like two shots just. Its not great at first but once u get the good spells and high int its awesome

i can attest to this, i decided to do an all caster build and it was awful at first. as my INT and sorcery amount increased, the (hilariously) easier the game became.
for PvP though, i have mixed results. w/o dark magic it was a nightmare, but once i finally obtained my dark bead (and to a lesser extent, pursuers) i was able to pulverize gankers. dark magic also made PvE a joke since i had access to power within, crown of dusk, TCC, and bellowing dragon ring, most bosses were 1-shotted with a single dark bead.

you gonna need power within! also, no summons? i didn't use a melee weapon for my caster until NG+ and even then, they're just for special circumstances (like running outta casts, against Vow or Barrier, etc).
after O&S it got soooo much easier for my caster since i now had access to crystal magic. then you can play with dark magic!
