The stress I get from the harassment in game from random people and forum members is just getting to be too great. It's causing me serious health issues and just killing my will to even play online at all anymore or even sign into PSN. I'm unsure if I'll bounce back and just never again play online, but for the time being I'm done with the forum.

I think I might be settling to strictly playing Dark Souls offline now and finding a way so that I'll be incapable of receiving messages on PSN.

What has already been said. I'm not familiar with the PSN system, but changing psn id seems legit, so stick with doing that.
You can't let others stop you from having your fun. There will always be *ssholes around, trying to push you down one way or another. Letting them get to you, is letting them win pretty much. And if there's a loophole, then i don't see why letting them win would be the better option. I kind of doubt the harassment is all the reason to it, but that's what you mentioned in your first post.

Well it's just a combination of things stressing me out. I'm stuck at home all day from medical problems, at home I listen to my parents fight and talk about what seems to be a coming divorce or even suicide if I want to read too deeply into things. Then my only escape is gaming or writing, and my writing is very dark and in some ways unhealthy with the focus I put on death and dark endings. So gaming is my healthiest escape, and lately that's been filled with taunting messages and people taunting me or just generally acting mean towards me seemingly wanting me to feel worthless.
I guess these days I just do feel worthless and weak.

And when i say someone to talk to, i'm not talking about a psychiatrist or any of the kind, but just any kind of friend.

**** Tolvo that's a lot to do deal with. I hate to say this but that is literally a been there situation for me so I understand that darkness. Have you tried music, talking to someone who is willing to listen to you speak your mind? Self thinking and looking to a future you can work towards?
