by I've pretty much done the same. Hell I bought the DLC but haven't even beaten it yet since I just couldn't be bothered with the game, I guess I drew the line after 500 hours.. only to lose all my saves and motivation

Well, it's that time for me, anyway. Didn't want to create my own thread, but I didn't want to just disappear without saying a word either since I've been around so long!
There isn't a reason in particular. Partly it's because I'm spending way too much time as Blaine right now, rather than myself, and I'm starting to not like that. Also I'm more than done with the game, and as much as I like the off-topic chat, I'm just not getting anything out of it. I won't drag this on, it's just time to go!
Dark Souls has a way of gathering wayward souls to it, so I can honestly say I hope I will not be back for Dark Souls 2! But if I'm still wayward by then, I'll be really happy if anyone else here is part of this community again.
See ya "Old Guard", and see ya everyone else too, you've all been great.
