I once got a ridiculous streak on Star Wars Battlefront 2, but it was by being in a vehicle for the whole match, and against new players, so I'm not gonna let it count.

I'm confused.. it looks like 38/8 to me, as 0 should not have a line through it... but your pride in it implies 30/0 which would be incredible :|

Rough estimates:
Forum K/D: 20/0 (1 Zombie in form of Serious)
Chatbox K/D: 75/0 (1 or 2 zombies)

To do the math, that comes out at near 3/1. That's pretty good, on average.

Yeah, it's 30/0. I've done better, but that's the only one I bothered uploading. My fittings are about 78k ISK, so I try not to die too much.
If you die in Dust, you lose your gear. Hahah.
I have an alt account that is specialized in armor tanks and my tank costs 600k ISK. When it explodes, I cry tears of blood. I'm a terrible driver though, so I don't know what else I expect when I call in my tank... :|

Lol, I love the zombie comment, it's great
Though you should probably knock off a few of those forum kills for Frost and Earl Jones.. I swear they had like 3/4 versions of themselves overall, it got kinda ridiculous by the end (and still they didn't bother changing )
My KD on chatbox is pretty good too.. though I got killed once.. accidentally got myself locked out for 15 minutes cus i posted too much too quickly (i did a countdown.. it was dumb of me )

"This thread is such a pissing contest, they're all obviously lying. No matter how good or how much time you spend on playing thing slike COD, a KD of 3, 4 or any other number higher is just ridiculous and an obvious lie."
I kinda have to agree with him on this one, it seems like ******** (especially tolvo's 50 KD, which i hope is a typo, but still then in my opinion stupid)
I played as the Soldier, a class that uses a rocket launcher. It is not played often because it is a jack of all trades and master of none.
It has the second slowest movement speed, the second most powerful weapon, and the second highest health. The main thing is that the soldier can fire at his own feet to rocket jump. He can still kill people in one hit with critical hits. The soldier is able to rocket jump across the map and take health kits easily allowing for great survivability. Snipers are his main consider since they can headshot him, but by firing a singe rocket for suppressing fire you'll easily get through anywhere with them. Demomen are also a concern but using your shotgun you can destroy their sticky grenades which act as mines.
As I said, I used to write guides on how to play the game back in the day because I was obsessive about it. I actually spent entire weakends player it from friday night to sunday night without sleeping in between.
K/D is also not important in TF2 since it is an objective based game almost always. The only people with high K/D ratios are typically snipers, since they often sit at the back of a battlefield just sniping people. It's possible for them to get a K/D of 20 to 100. That's just how the game is. It's why many people play sniper because to most it makes them seem important even if they did almost nothing to help the team that match and lost.
Another game I had a high K/D in was Red Dead Redemption, it was around twenty. But I never played on the hardcore mode without aim assist. The auto-aim in game makes you automatically aim at a person's chest, if you then tap up and fire you'll instantly headshot anyone. Basically everyone has an aimbot, however a good deal of players don't know that autoaim trick so you can just easily wipe random players out. On hardcore my K/D would probably be in the negatives.

My K/D on RDR used to be near 15/1. It dropped dramatically when people started stealing my High Power Pistol.

Re: Average KDR in shooters
The thing is, I play with people who can maintain a 7+ K/D on CoD. I wish I was lying, but I'm not. If one thinks this is a pissing conest, he or she should talk to the people in my area who know of no video games except for first person shooters.

Re: Average KDR in shooters
My 2.0 isn't shenanigans. If I did snipe and camp,it'd be 4 or 5.I play the objective in BF3 which means I am always close to enemy players.
I think everyone needs to get the fact that Call of Duty is a joke.Sorry for stepping on toes with the statement but it requires zero talent to win at.360 quickscoping? Camping? Spawn trapping? Glitch abuse, laziness and game mechanic abuse. Not saying it only happens in that game, just point out that "pro" CoD players do all of those things, they are no better than hackers for abusing the game.

Re: Average KDR in shooters
That's actually why I liked TF2 so much. It was really easy to get kills, but that doesn't mean you'll win. I prefer objective based games I think since I like working as an actual team towards a goal. As I said, snipers could get like fifty kills in a life and contribute nothing to the team. It's why I usually didn't invite people who played as the sniper to any game I was in. I'd invite good Demo's, engineers, scouts, etc. Only when I found someone who would suppress as a sniper or take out mainly medics or go for sentries, that's a sniper I'd invite. They'd end up with less kills but we'd win matches like that.

Did you ever play on community servers? They are just Snipers taking potshots at eachother for the entire 'match'.

Re: Average KDR in shooters
CoD is a complete and utter joke in the FPS world, ill agree with that. Most of the players are whinny little babies that blame lag for dying when in fact they either got out skilled, or the enemy abused a glitch of some kind. They ALL think they are L33T, but cant play any other FPS to save their lives and anything else is a "CoD Copy" or a CoD rip off

Re: Average KDR in shooters
Yeah,I feel team wins are more important than personal glory.I do well already but I still try to get people to the objective to plant the bomb in rush.I pick off any snipers, mow down people in our path and suppress them while we plant and focus on shooting anyone trying to disarm it over anyone shooting at me.Most randoms aren't very helpful though,I find a lot of them simply sitting at our base, shooting a wall.

And this is exactly why I play Dark Souls. No one to blame for your loss except for yourself outside of hackers and/or modders. Not only that, but player "skill" is attributed to others by their peers.

Re: Average KDR in shooters
Skill in Dark Souls, i feel, can be measured by how far you are willing to go to get something done. NO matter how many times you die, no matter how much souls or humanity you lose in the process, you still go at it until you finally complete what you set out to do.
Asking for help (summoning someone) doesnt mean your unskilled, it just means you acknowledge something as difficult and admit you could use some help overcoming an obstacle. I dont know how many times someone sent me a message saying "oh you need help with this part? god its so easy you dont have any skill do you?" and i always reply the same, by kicking them out of the world
