that's not how DkS works.
That only worked for DeS.
DkS is when sh*t gets real.
You can't just SPAM parries.
Parrying is an art, and you are its canvas.
Let the parry flow through you like that of a painting.

My painting looks like what a 5 year old paints in his art class.

Then chain BS them. I don't know about the BP black knights, but I recently found that the BP silvers do about 700 damage in NG+++ (edit: I have 411 def, too) with a frickin' shield bash! No, thanks I'm coo'... not effin' around with that. I parry/riposte, then chain 2 BS'es. I forgot to do the while wearing though.

I have to go with Skeleton Doggy on this one. There is no reason they should do the damage and knockback that they deal. Aside from that, with patience, I have learned to tolerate or enjoy everything else .

On topic, I still dread the Four Kings beyond NG. I just can't get them without less than two phantoms or way to many times trying.
