If you want to beat yourself up why not do more of those kendo bouts you mentioned interest you? That seems like a smarter option.

I would suggest exercise if you don't already, physical work helps to increase happiness. Chemical wise it does.

Well, I finished talking to her, and she also hid everything that was potentially lethal. We decided that I should probably just write down my observations throughout the day. I was wondering if this was a good idea. I can just try to keep going and see where I am taken. I hope that in the end, it will be worth it.

Journals are usually a good idea. At the very least she can see everything which will help both of you

She has a grip on how to calm me down. Ever since I literally destroyed an entire wall with a sledgehammer, and wrecked everything in the room, she sat still in her chair until I was done, and helped me regain control of my emotions when I was young. Honestly, she will do whatever she can to help me, and I will for her. The suicide thing I didn't know about, though.

Some little advice from me: when you start feeling depressed, don't be alone. That is bad and it doesn't matter who you are with and they don't have to know why you're with them, but just being with other people really helps.

Any kind of creative outlet usually helps as well. Not much makes me happier than creating something I enjoy or can be proud of. Of course watching videos of people getting hit in the junk with sports equipment is just as good.

Ren - we sure as hell can ignore that possibility. This forum is about bringing people together. About making their lives better by forming bonds under a common love. All of our posts should serve to emphasize and reinforce that.

Satoshi, hang in there. If nothing else, you have a support group here who can feel what you feel, who have gone through the feelings you have.

Guys let's just forget about what Renegade said.

Tolvo's right. You told him what you thought. No sense in beating him up over it.

It was reprehensible, ill advised and it sets the standard for what is not acceptable behavior here. As a result he has been permanently removed from this community. There are boundaries of taste and discretion, let this be a demonstration of what will and will not be tolerated on this wiki.

Now no more of this needs to be said, let us shift the focus back to moral support as a community.

Guys I would like to bring up a little thing for future reference, and I hope it is something you would consider for the future.

For those who are considering posting, "He just wants attention, don't give him any time." I want you to consider something.

There are trolls no doubt, there are people willing to pretend to be suicidal. They want to waste your time and may laugh at you for trying to help them. They are sick people or incredibly immature, possibly both.

Now then, if this happens what have you lost? Time, I understand time is money but maybe you've lost a few hours trying to help them. That is it.

Let's say they were honest, they were genuinely considering killing themself. If you simply convince everyone to treat them poorly you can push them over that edge. In that scenario what is lost? A person's life.

Frankly, I don't care if I waste my time getting trolled by fifty people pretending. As long as I help one person or don't contribute to hurting them, I'm happy with myself. I'm happy for them if I can help them, a person's live may just be saved. Don't beat yourself up too much if you couldn't help them but dammit try. Everyone deserves their chance at life and a chance at getting help. Make them feel comforted and hope that even the little bit of kindness they receive online helps them.

In short, it's possible there is a faceless troll on the other side of that computer. It is also possible that there is a living breathing person on the other side going through incredibly rough times that is crying out for help.

No matter how small a number are real, always try to help out your fellow human beings. Support them, make them feel welcomed, and let them know that they aren't trapped in their life and that they have choices.

I think what's most important is that we back Satoshi and not leave him with the impression we might believe that he is "trolling." He probably doesn't need that on his conscience right now.
