Sake definitely doesn't hit hard, it feels nice going down the throat if heated but that's it. Definitely not like vodka, the master race of spirits :razz:

I would say that it depends on how you look at it. It damages your body, however, it could lead to a good time. Although, it could also lead to really bad mistakes. It offers a lot, as long as you handle it responsibly.

Alchohol affects people differently, i've seen it turn the calmest guy i knew into a nutcase, a fairly jolly guy into a blubbering idiot, a shy guy into a don Juan DeMarco. Drink it in moderation or don't at all although there's nothing worse than being the only sober one with a few drunken mates.

I thought this was the coolest **** ever when I turned 18.
Then I realized that it's so much faster to just scroll down to an arbitrarily low number and any month/date than it is to actually enter my age.
For example I just went to a Diablo 3 web site and entered my DoB as May 4th 1961.

a note on sake, if its been exposed to too much light or the wrong humidity during storage the flavor goes to crap, pretty much like wine actually. also many "big name"sakes tend to actually dilute their product with water and grain alchohal in order to increase production amounts, but these ones tend to taste horrible.

Sake has never gotten me drunk. I theorize all sake sold to ignorant Americans is diluted...but no matter where I get it, how many times I've tried it, never feel a thing.

Well to me i think to get me drunk I'd have to mix it 100ml (4 shots) with 1 little bottle of VS (330mls) per glass.. Makes about 3 shots per glass...

It's what you make of it, though it's undeniable that a whole new world of freedoms opened up to you.
And it kinda sucks too, I'm 23 and I still don't have all the "adult" things opened to me. For example, if I want to rent a jet ski I can't just present my license I have to take a special boating course first. You have to be 25 for your motorist documentation to be accepted.
