The painting is a good place for us to invade when other places are slow. Also I highly recommend Darkmoon to join us. I like the dedication to fight sinners and the more members means more fighters for the fencing event.

It is Skeletor! A throwback to my days of committing sin as a servant of Kaathe. But those days are behind me OR ARE THEY and I've spent an inordinate amount of time trying my hand at killing sinners. I'm up to around 30 ears now, I think, counting those I've already donated to the figurehead Gwyndolin.
That said, if a He-Man cosplay was possible that would make killing Darkwraiths that much sweeter. I had a Guts cosplay in the works at one point, but it required me to wear really crappy armor and I just kept dying haha.
Anyway, tag is Hereticforlife as well. Thanks for the welcome, and glad to be joining yall!

So; I wiped out my mule account saves to start over and I remade my fencing build. I switched one rapier for a bow and went to the burg to duel. If you want a challenge I recommend doing... something else -- this was just awful. I actually, did extremely well and controlled almost all the matches but was doing pathetic damage and not landing any critical hits and I invariably ended up losing. I put the wolf ring on and did less worse. Ironically the first match I won I won easily. I gave up after I lost to a guy with a zweihaender.
I wanted to do this stupid experiment to work on some stuff and really handicap myself -- kind of a self run PVP boot camp. One of the things I wanted to work on was parrying. I'm getting better, but I realized I haven't needed to parry on the build I've been using so I haven't tried it in a while. I hit a few partials and landed one parry, but missed the riposte thanks in part to the lag in the parry animation. So... here's a guy with zweihaender great opportunity to parry; I throw one out (1-time parry; I have 48 poise and no shield) he swings at about the right time... waiting hopefully... BAM, huge chunk of damage & stunned. Damn, thought I had at least a partial -- I guess not. But, wait!!!! He get's parried out of nowhere now -- I tried the riposte because the animation triggered so late I should have had time to land it. But of course my character does a thrust, and now I get hit and stunned again! ...So like I said, I quit after I lost to the guy with a zweihaender. I can recognize a giant middle finger from the universe when I see it.
Another weird thing (a bunch of really weird crap seems to be happening to me lately...); I was using the blue eye orb at the Solaire bonfire in AL and I had on the covenant ring... I get the 'invading as a dark spirit' message. OK fine, dark AL it is. I spawn as a red... in light Anor Londo... at the darkmoon spawn point by the moving staircase. Weird; anyway I have no interest in being a red so I crystal out. Later I invade the same guy as a blue and get an ear. No cool story here, he died to a Silver Knight before I could gank him and his phantom. However, he killed the Silver Knight nearest where Siegmeyer is by attacking through the wall... from the hallway! Not the little room Siemeyer's in -- I'd never seen or heard of that before.

Some good news; I got on my SL 100 and re-worked my setup to solve a problem I've had with it and it's now better than ever! Soon, it will be even better! I plan on taking that toon to 125 and making a new toon with a different stats for all my SL 100 sorcery needs.
I'm kicking around deleting my 120, but I may over-level it and use it to try out some stuff like a faith/int crossbreed. If I delete it though, I'll have to transfer/give away all my stuff. Other than a short supply of slabs it looks like a mule account. I did mule that character, but it was all stuff I got the hard way from another character.

Much worse was that they were experienced in the most sinful use of the Dark Magics, and even tainted the Miracles and Sorceries they hath wielded again mine blade.
I shall rest mine wounds by my Knightess comrade's bonfire, and hope for a better hunt Tommorow.

Gankers are annoying but not a bane. Focus on the host and the rest are optional, Try other areas for invading. Many sinners in the sea of this game.
