On my Lautrec build I invade in Anor Londo, whenever I see gankers I run to the main hallway, and usually the host and his phantoms get split up by the Royal Sentinels and the Archer.
Then it's a matter of ganking with the AI to kill the host.

In an attempt to fuel my blade's desire for the blood of sinners, I was apprehended by thine most cruelest of cowards: those that wait for us Darkmoons with their accomplices, the Gankers. Much worse was that they were experienced in the most sinful use of the Dark Magics, and even tainted the Miracles and Sorceries they hath wielded again mine blade.
I shall rest mine wounds by my Knightess comrade's bonfire, and hope for a better hunt Tommorow.
I learned the power of a Silver Knight tonight.Hugh_G_Johnson wrote:Soris Ice Goldwing wrote:Gankers are annoying but not a bane. Focus on the host and the rest are optional, Try other areas for invading. Many sinners in the sea of this game.
Yes, very true. But, don't forget to kill the accomplices after the host is dead. Some of them event quit after the host dies -- I never do. I've even killed both phantoms after the host has died before. It's a great feeling not to mention absolutely hilarious.
I like Lati's advice. However, I like to scout my prey early in the level if possible. I'll try to set up a trap before then and fall back to the Sentinel's if it doesn't work out. The silver knights are not to be taken lightly, especially with a distraction. They can back-stab people and they're difficult to parry in multi-player because their AI will 'spaz out' and they'll change their attack at the last second... not to mention lag. Try to make sure the giant shortcut in the main hall is open, too. I found myself all alone against three people in the main hall, but retreated to the Sentinels outside and was able to kill all three.
I know about it, I just want to get a better Rapier for my build.Hugh_G_Johnson wrote:*whispering* psst Lati; check out this link.

Right now I have Divine Ricard's +10 but the damage output is sub-par.
I'm thinking about going with Lightning.
