    LOL.  Tough call.  It goes against the restricted locations, but fits with the handicapping theme.  I guess, the main underlying goal is to make a fair build that is not overpowered.  I can consider the Calamity ring to fit there.

    I'd say it is OK, unless others have an objection.  I just don't see the harm, it only makes it easier for the hosts to kill you.

    Anyone object to allowing the Calamity Ring?

    But really, just use it if you want a challenge. If it's to offset the 99 humanity, that's pretty awesome too. Or, you could just die and lose all of that precious humanity. big grin

    My sl 10 thief did pretty well against a giant dad red and his low sl friend who summoned me. Kicked me when I came close to killing him.

    How much humanity does that toon have? You'll have to start at 0 for this event. You have to earn your humanity during it.

    my build is finished except for getting a ghost blade. I've been having a lot of trouble connecting with other people lately, but hopefully the problem goes away and I'll be able to get my knife...

    I bet this was already said before, but don't you think that Jagged Ghost Blade is a bit OP at this SL?
    I just did 20+ invasions in Parish with my SL1 and that thing just destroys everyone, especially since you allow me to upgrade it to +5. The thing is basically a Gold Tracer with less damage and funny R2s. It was good enough to owerpower a twink gank waiting for me on the bridge.

    Not Jagged Ghost Blade, Ghost Blade. I do agree though, the Jagged Ghost Blade is very powerful for an early-game weapon.

    Well my toon has been ready for a number of weeks. I've almost completed the DLC with him - just got Kalameet to kill and at SL10 thats going be be a nightmare.

    Last night I invaded 3 gankers outside the Artorios fog gate and the fools followed me into Kalameets arena which the host hadnt yet entered. Kalameet managed to kill all three of them in one spew. Me too but that was the easiest 10k souls ever! lol!

    21 I went on a mass summoning spree to get the souls since I can't get this build to be a darkwraith. Also Parish invaders OP as freakin hell with max upgraded items.

    Hey Reim mind if I keep mine? My build won't handle the 4 kings to be a darkwraith, and after 50 summons, no one summons a phantom for PvP that is not some trap for me to be killed, and that was once. I think it would be better to host.

     What's your build again?  An elemental weapon can handle the darkwraiths on NG even without PW (though it's annoying).  I did it with a lightning spear +5 2 handed.  I think most starting classes can use that 2h...IIRC all of them except the ones with less than 10 dex.  If you're SL 1 or 3 though (IE pyro or sorc) you can use PW...so if you start as a bandit and don't get to 10 dex you might have to use an elemental hand axe or a reinforced club.

    If you have 1 slot for PW the fights much simpler, but I couldn't do that on my SL 10 either so I just farmed a few chunks and made the lightning spear from sen's maxed out.

    Humanity needs to start at 0. An easy way to dump humanity is to kindle bonfires. The majority of my invades are people who are at a low SL. You can be sure their humanity isn't high at all.

    Sorris - an easy way to beat the kings is poise and a high DPS weapon. Tank it up, and spam R1 and estus!

    Easier said than done Reim since this is a thief and not a tank. I have nothing that could tank the 4 kings. I even tried the Capra demon and got killed with even hitting him.

     Full Havel's, +4 Lightning Longsword, Crest Shield, 20 estus, you should be fine. just stand against them, 2-hand the sword, and keep swinging. if they to the AOE attack, just back up a bit and hold up your shield. Heal whenever you drop below half health. This worked for me on my SL10, and I've only fought them twice before.

    I can't even fight the Four Kings while tanking.

    I literally CAN NOT fight them with a tank, I absolutely have to fast roll.

    Problem: I don't have any of this or the access to it nor do I have the skill to even try low sl runs. I'll just get a trader to hand me about 79 orbs and deal with the 4 kings when I get the build to 55.
