You need 54 Poise to not get staggered by the first hit of a Great Sword, 77 to survive the first hit of an Ultra Greatsword.

I've recorded a few things, but it's mostly just low quality small lore things or slight guides. I kill farmers a lot, but I can't kill farmers while recording via an Ipod in one hand haha.

GC, let me tell you a little trick I've done.

Oolacile Head Piece, and Dragoncrest Ring for damage. A +5 Ascended Q's Flame, and the kick animation. Kick someone, and hit them with two GC's. I've never seen anyone survive it. Just a little food for thought. The kick stagger both leaves them open to attack, and causes them to take increased damage as it counts as a counter attack from you.

Sounds interesting... to combine it with power within and red tearstone! For the greatswords, what about 2h? I have 56 poise (havels leggings, gauntlets), and I got staggered on the first 2h r1 from the MLGS.

its 53 for 2hed 30 for 1h, but MLGS is an exception to this rule, you require 58 for that

You should read the resource thread, it actually contains links leading to threads that can answer your questions haha.

    But, here's the direct link.

Actually, the MLGS has a different point? If you are very sure of this you should post it in that thread.

Yeah, I am definitely sure, as @54 poise it stuns me 2h at 58 poise it doesnt... I have tested this before, so that means that the poise for MLGS is between 55-58 poise.

Hmm, you could always get together with someone and check the exact point. I know Wyrm and I have done that before with a few weapons, the GLGS included, which worked like a typical Great Sword.

Yeah i will probably record tests and then have it quartered so i have it showing all clips in slow mo at same time, Btw MLGS has Unlimited stunlock, it is unescapable without the glitch...

Haha, just in case it's still something useful to post for those who read through this. With the views we get I'm pretty sure we have a lot of lurkers using this information for good or ill pursuits of their own, despite never actually posting in the thread.

Yeah - I also would like to know the poise breakpoint for MLGS - I'm pretty sure you need a poise higher than 55 (that is what I have) so you can take one hit. I really try to avoid being hit by it, especially a solid one because I have been stunlocked by it so many times. I think its the extreme magic damage which causes it to cripple poise - it appears you may need a higher poise than you would for other great sword class weapons.

We both do now, ahaha. Play wise we're polar opposites. Broke is very analytical, slow-paced and EXTREMELY punishing. I'm as aggressive as they come, forcing my enemies into my pace.

Yeah - cloud is a freaking fire demon!!!The whole first video cloud posted was like small nukes going off the whole time. I know Alvina was saying "What in the world is going on in my front yard?!!!". Cloud is a very skilled fighter indeed.

I am more analytical (passive-aggressive maybe??) in my fighting style but I have been coerced winking into being more aggressive by Tolvo and Cloud. Lets just see what happens when a little "berserker" is injected into the mix :?: .

Well lets get some invading in - need to see what is going on in the forest.

Hello noble Forest Hunters. I have read this thread from beginning to end . I just wanted to pop my head up and say Thank you all very much. I am a Dark Moon Blade sl 162 who hunts the guilty exclusively in the forest on xbox. Your tips and vids have been invaluable to my mission of punishing the campers in the forest. Honestly this thread has added a great deal of value to my pvp experience. I really can't thank you all enough.
