Fast cast WotG hack?

Is this possible? The connection didn't seem that laggy, the first time I fought the guy he got me with 3 WotGs in a row. I figured I just screwed up my rolls and he got me. The second time I was mashing dodge after the first one, the second one sends me sprawling anyways before I can even dodge.

Has anyone experienced this? Or must the lag have been just bad enough to cause it?

Of course it has to happen against the guy using DMB claymore, TWoP and WotG.

was he just timing it to hit you as you exit a roll, because i do that.

if youvgot wtunlocked with wog though, that would be new. it wasnt purple was it? if it was, its a haco, otherwise, it could be lag, or just good timing.

WoG can stun lock for 2 hits in a row right? So if just the first time you mistimed, and the second time was just two hits, it sounds perfectly normal.

if youre midrolling. even then its not an actual lock, its just tough to avoid the second hit.

Some guy earlier was doing this. I was ninjaflipping and he still caught me everytime. (his build was centered around high poise wotg casts)

No I am not, the guy asking me that thought I was the host in a world he invaded and the wotg spammer would've been the second invader, but he was mistaken. I guess it's safe to establish that there was someone today in Oolacile abusing wotg in some way. I hope it's not going to be some kind of trend.

On Pc nothing would surprise me. That being said WOG can be tricky at times, getting hit always throws off my timing and 50% of the time i end up being hit by the 2nd as well. Sometimes i think you're better off with 0 poise againtst WOG, take the knockdown rather than the stun and the follow up wog or bs.

Wait, if you are on the PC then the invader could have modded his/hers casting time right? There is a lot more hackers can do on the PC so it's quite possible.

I was under the impression that wog casting speed was uneffected by dex.

WOTG can stunlock. It's happened to me before, and I've also stunlocked with it before. Both times were against German players, so lag may have had a hand in it.

I remember fighting someone a while back with over 15 WoGs. I got hit once or twice in the first 3 invasions, but in the 4th invasion I mistimed a roll pretty badly and was stunlocked to death.

I went through a longer and different recovery animation when I got hit in the last invasion. I still don't know exactly what happened.

45 dex will increase casting speed for BF/GC to stunlocking capability. Does that apply to WoG too?

I know it's a simply theory, but possibly lag? Lag has done some weird things to me in multiplayer. (but still more rare than people make it out to be, IMO)

I don't believe 45 Dex effects the casting speed of miracles.

It does on the lightning spells, seen a video or 2 on it, but never heard anything on WOTG.

It may have been the Ring of the Sun's Firstborn. I think it slightly increases the range on WoTG. One of my faith builds uses that ring not for the minor damage boost it gives, but because it makes even DWGR jockeys screw up their rolls pretty badly against WotG. With increased range but the same cast speed it can sometimes feel like the spell gets off faster (since the wave travels a greater distance in the same amount of time), and because folks tend to miss subsequent roll evasions they feel like they get stunlocked.

As far as i know, i've never heard of Ring of the Sun's Firstborn making WOGs radius bigger. The description is:

Increases offensive miracle damage by approximately 25%, depending on the spell

That acts as resonance ring. That makes forces range slightly higher and same with emit force. WOG though just increases damage by 4.5% or 9% based on synergy boost or double synergy boost.
