No Crystal Magic Weapon? You can really ruin someone's day with that. I also recommend the FaP or Hornet rings, your magic will be strong enough with TCC and CoD.

EDIT: You don't need nearly that much HCSM. It is mainly effective at keeping people away while you heal. It is so easily dodged. Try some Dark Bead and CSS. That'll mess up their timing a bit.

Ok forest brethren - I have a question. Which boss controls the bonfire next to the crest door leading to the forest - is it Sif or Moonlight Butterfly? I think the moonlight butterfly controls it in regards to being invaded @ the bonfire but I'm not sure. Trying to invade the forest as DW but can't due to constant invasions but I still want invasions @ the bonfire & in the moonpit (I know for sure the butterfly controls the pit). I don't wanna kill Sif if it prevents me from being invaded at the bonfire.

And, don't like that 225 KJ build. I'm going to the Uberpowerful banana DGA and see how that works. Only 70 kills left before I level up to 380. At 380, that is virtually the most powerful you can become. Above that, you will have slightly more power, but it will be insignificant.

Well folks I've done a couple of sessions invading the forest with a new DW "spellsword" build (pure melee magic - no spells) and the gank is STRONG!! These campers are just owning the freaking hill  .The BOX hunters are attacking me instead of the host, trying to fight on the ledge & getting knocked off, running away, etc, ad infinitum. Where are the 1st line hunters cause the 2nd string is getting destroyed !?!?! I created this build to get back to basics so I guess I'm getting what I wanted. Gonna keep invading like a mutha cause u know I love it!!

Right now, I'm at 225. And, yeah, I've been invading relentlessly for weeks. I want to finish 225. Then, take a break and have a go at 380. 380 (with the correct stats, of course), for all intents and purposes, is the strongest build you can make. Anything above it is only minimally more powerful.

Has been quite a challenge to go there with 21 poise and 1500hp and no shield. The reason why i did this is not because i'm good enough but because i kinda wanted to get some extra practice with my dodging and toggle escaping. I often switched to wolf ring if i had to fight someone with gold tracer, falchion or spear though. 

I also noticed that you can often do a quick pivot backstab after dark bead stun which usually deals well over 1600 damage. If I tried to do it against curved sword user they ended up damage canceling the backstab usually. It's a nice little combo worth practicing against gankers though.

By the way, This thread is going to split soon, is there anyone who would like to create a new one with proper first post and all that epic covenant stuff what threads usually have 

Forest hunting has never been so glorious, I forgot how terrible these guys are i'm having a great time in the forest tonight! I hope I see some of you there soon!

So, any takers?  I could possibly do it myself but i would prefer someone from the old guard do it (reim, tolvo, amos, brokewilly etc).

I am definitely not the person to do it. I love this covenant, but I'm not creative enough to come up with any lore. I'd be willing to help out in other ways though.

I don't get this. Are you asking a question or just posting the fact you don't like this covenant, or posting the fact your don't like the Forest HUnter covenant in general?

oh i didnt give a reason i do that on purpose because i want to get invaded in the forest its funner that way because i always could kill the ai and it doesnt take long to be invaded usually when im a forest invader it takes forever.also i was just wondering i neither like or dislike this covenant
