Its not 100 percent and, as its still an idea, i'm sure input on the potential guidelines is welcome.

I was thinking more, tester intentionally attacks in patterns with say 3 weapons over say 30 min. get X blind parries in that time to qualify. To show that you can recognise attack patterns and parry said weapons with reasonable success.

Its also why the only tough one is for rank 5. the rest are fairly easy but requiring blind parrying to reach 5 would keep the skill standards for the elite ranks high and give players of lower ranks clear skill related goals to work towards, improving the quality of our members overall.

I really thought the idea through.

We could test it for commonly used weapons, such as Claymores/MLGS, BKGA and spears (turtles). Also we could test 3 vs 1 battles for rank 4. If you can kill the host, you're a qualified rank 4 Lifehunter.

Oh god I can see the pivot BSing now. Yay! I'm a master of that given my anti-griefer ways.

There you go, you got the idea. Though again rank 5 testers who know how thard to push would be who i'd use as opponents.

So by the time you're rank 5 you've got all the basics and can teach it, and know at least some of the advanced stuff even if you cant teach it.

I'd get everything set in stone before you recruit on other forums.
Easier to deal with new members that way.

If you're serious about the tests we'll need experienced pvpers to help set up fair standards. I'd ask around. (reim and tolvo'd be where i start)

We can set pivot BS, roll BS and counter BS for rank 3 (abominations, lol) 3 vs 1 battles for rank 4 (real lifehunters). Parries for rank 5 (masters).

Yes Tolvo. Priscilla requests you to be a judge in 3 vs 1 tests for players wanting to obtain the title of rank 4 Lifehunter.

Because understand, the 1 will have to invade and land in the world where the three are. Because, there are two summon spots, two invader spots, unless Gravelording, in which case three invader slots. If you summon a red to be part of the test, you can only summon one white. Meaning the red/blue has to be an invader, and the two plus host be white/gold. That's the issue I see with the test, it's impossible to get everyone in a place like the PW, maybe Btown or another area, but PW you'll never get that to work.

for the experts thing I ment for setting the specific standard for parring ability. in case you didn't catch that. but yeah the skill-rank requirements sound good.

Midling players, demonstrate proper bs techniques, good players prove their mettle, advanced players do the high risk/reward stuff. Sounds fair to me.

@ tolvo, host-2 whites is 3. b town would work but what about the parish? skip cappa demon? i dont see much traffic there at higher sl's. and i wouldn't think the testee would have to be using the vov build? not up to me though.
Or darkroot, the garden is usually empty, fighting before the butterfly area.

@viral thats the point. Its not as if we'll be unleashing the dogs on you though, i would think the 3 would confine themselves to the relative skills of an average player.

The Basement I have open on my FC toon, so I can just run there. I don't even have to get to the parish, I'll just jump down there and open the shortcut to firelink if people want to in that area. We might find the odd low level griefer who is having the worst luck, but that area is usually tame. Btown has actually seen some rise in darkmoons lately. More than likely trying to invade down but getting mixed up with us. Hopefully we won't have the same issue down in the basement.

Sorry if my posts sound strange btw. After 3 days of dr who 6 hours a day i'm thinking in british and its screwing with how i word things.

@ viral 1v2 might work instead, idk. I'm just trying to add some structure and incentive without hampering build freedom.

And yeah... 0hkoing everyone with velkas +hornets is suprisingly easy on my sl 60. I killed 4 forest hunters in a row without taking any damage. Only one tried to adapt when he invaded again and i counter bsd his attempt. they all dropped 15-20k a kill too, doesn't that put them at sl 100-120?

@ Pirate isn't it SL 76? 10% + 10? I really don't know the invading SL for Darkmoons. I also have some fails, but I got to invade someone with the blue orb. You know I'm setting this SL because this is the common SL for players to trespass our Painted World and kill Priscilla. I think maybe even lower SL.

i thought it was just 10% up. i've never invaded a 76 with my 60.

still, blue orb invades down so i'd cap them at 80 assuming the 10% difference.
With dws invading from 55 up and dws from 88 down we'll cover the whole range. dm sl 74 would be 80 and down.
