Topic for a commentary?

I've got gameplay recorded, but what do you guys want me to talk about? The video will be roughly 15 minutes long. I've got some potential topics though of:

1 Bottomless box glitch and early level PvP/Co-op

2 Bosses and PvE

3 DLC and the PC port

4 Dark Souls general difficulty

5 Covenants and patches

6 Why Dark Souls is the best game. Period.

You're talking about part 1 of a playthrough, right? While I don't like the idea of advertising the glitch by discussing it, I think it'd be awful helpful for new players who are being repeatedly destroyed by it to find out that the fights they're losing are completely unfair, so it might be cool to touch on that.

*edit*oh, and pvp survival tips would also be great!

Its not a playthrough, persay: Im voicing over the gameplay after its been recorded. The reason for this is that my PC is at the opposite end of the house from my PS3 making voice recordings impossible. Im going to check if you can download a recording program for a Mackbook.

Are you mostly a PvE or PvP guy, or is it 50/50? Are you a lore hound?

Im mostly a PvE guy. I deleted all my characters and started afresh, so none of my guys are two far into the game. I know a fair bit about the lore and could probably talk about it, though not in the same depth of ENB.

PvE, that's awesome. I hope to learn some new stuff (jumps, techniques, etc.). I'm watching the vids for an sl 3 sorcerer playthrough where the player discovered if you use Hidden Body on the Capra Demon the dogs will NOT aggro. That's freaking awesome! I think he's a forum member here, too.

Yeah, enb's lore series is pretty in-depth, but a little tidbit here and there would be cool, too. The point you made about it being such a great game is a good one, I think, even if you were kind of joking. So many commentaries on DkS tend to sound extremely casual--even bored, sometimes--with the game. Share the love!

I'm always down for PvP tips. Like how to deal with certain weapons, how to handle 2 vs 1 fights, etc.

I'll try to be as enthusiastic as possible, and I'll talk about useful hints and tips. For example, did you know that in undead parish, you can actually fight the channeler from the ground and prevent him from shooting soul arrows by shooting him in the head with a bow? Thats stops him from perma-buffing the hollows.

There needs to be pauses as you draw with colored lines using circles to point out really obvious things as you tell them about the impact they have!

"No as you can see here this hollow has a spear and shield, but this guy over here just has a sword. Now some of you may not know this but spear guys are harder to fight when they have a shield. They can just sit behind it and hit you when your open. Since that sword guy doesn't have a shield, he can't block, so he's the easier target!"

You should really just do your own thing, whatever comes natural.

For lets plays I usually prefer talk about game mechanics, a bit of story/lore, pros and cons of this and that approach. When you pick up a weapon, try it out and talk about it, same with items, rings, spells and armors. And keep it witty bounce
