Not sure but I think you have to wait a few minutes/hours/days to be able to Edit.

If I remember correctly, I couldn't edit the wiki for awhile after I joined, but I'm not sure. You should PM Emergence-if it is possible to PM an admin.

Log in, click edit button. If you are trying to edit the main 'Covenants' page it will probably fail, since it's locked. The user made covenants are open to edits. http://darksoulswiki.wikispaces.com/User+Made+Covenants

Youdont have to reply to any email. But you do have to wait to be accepted like ublug says.
