I understand these have been analyzed comprehensively already, and many people bring them up at times, and when they do I'm totally lost. Could someone explain the two to me.

Flame of Chaos is the flame the Witch of Izalith created to try to mimic the First Flame, which is is the flame of disparity. Many believe the Witch began working on this when the First Flame started to fade away. The Flame of Chaos I believe is the opposite of the flame of disparity, which is uncontrollable. Meanwhile the flame of disparity brought the Age of Fire, which is an age of order and stability.

Basically what wyrm aid +1. The flame of chaos is the bed of chaos while the flame of disparity is the one in the kiln.

Makes sense, but then why were the black knights burned out in their description when Gwyn lit the flame, is that a different flame, or the same flame.

"P.S. Please don't up my reputation, a negative one is hilarious."
I've been meaning to ask, is this why your rep is so low?

Who knows.
It will always be a mystery as to whether I'm a jerk, or a popular jerk.

The first flame went out at some point. While the first flame was out the witch created the chaos flame. Gwyn then relit the first flame which burned his knights and turned him into the lord of cinder.

As said, the flame of chaos is made by the witch of izalith, and the flame of disparity was found and granted the souls of lords.
The black knights were said to be charred by the rekindling of the first flame, according to their armor description at least.
I personally think the reason why the flame of chaos went nuts was because of sabotage, but I don't have any proof, only theories.

I think it probably went nuts because it was based upon merely the witches power of chaos, rather than the power of the four lords all combined.

The first flame wasnt based on the four lords together, the lord souls were created by the flame. We dont know what made the first flame.

Actually the lord's souls created the first flame, the four lords we know merely, "found the souls of lords within the flame."
There was something before the age or fire and the age of fog.

I'm basing it off the intro video which states that the Four Lords discovered the Souls of Lords within the "Fire"

yes, the souls were made by the first flame. The first firekeeper created the first flame through a disparity, breaking the laws of the world. The flame was the worlds way of saying "crap thats not meant to happen ... here have this and everything will be right again."

Acdic speculation. SO yeah I shouldnt have said it the way I did but its more likely than the lord souls making the flame. he might actually have proof of her but I cant remember it.

Hmm, makes sense to have an original fire keeper. Though I have a theory of my own.
When I said Lord Souls created the flame I was a bit unclear on what I thought, now it seems more likely to me that the flame was created through a different phenomenon, but I think the Lord Souls existed before it.

I'm sorry, I do that a lot. mostly cause your thread is so long.Acidic_Cook wrote:I like how you try to use my information without a link, and make me seem like an idiot. Thanks man
EDIT: So I added some links. Funnily enough I cant seem to find where you say - this is the first firekeeper. You talk about the statues being related to the God of War and then you talk about the firekeeper being the one in the statues. I kind find where you link the 2. Feel free to point out the very obvious part I missed.

I like your theory, but not entirely, since its discordant with certain evernts.

If the every first FireKeeper is indeed responsible for the flame of disparity, she should of been from Izalith, a daughter of the original Witch of Izalith, becase they were from the only ecosystem who have all factors in common.
1.- they are all women, Firekeepers are all women
2.- the "flame" of disparity seems to be product of magic, fire related magic, on the "Catalyst of Izalith" the description says originally the witches used fire related sorceries, however when the Witch tried to replicate the Lord soul copied the magic of a demon, the Firesage Demon, whom, according to the description of said item, is the original master of the fire arts.
3.- all Chaos related things are dependent on humanity, Chaos damage scales with humanity, Chaos covenant scales with humanity, the Fair Lady's health improves with humanity.
4.- Chaos magic its fire magic, but in another level, also said magic scales with humanity amount, in other words the more "human" you are, the more powerful your Chaos (fire?) magic will be
5.- The witches seemed to live or come from deep down the earth, that's where the flame of disparity came from.
6.- According to the Gold-hemmed armor, the Witch of Izalith lived BEFORE and AFTER the age of fire. Maybe the "Lord" souls refer to an even more ancient people, the question who will remain unanswered would be "If Gwyn found a lord soul and he became powerful... was he a god before this?" Maybe toying with demon secrets the Witch found something she couldn't handle and/or understand (that's pure and mere speculation)
