Nsane, I didn't get to the dragon, and stop ruining it for me k?
I don't need tips, it's just my party just aren't powerful enough at the moment. Like nowhere near lol so I'm just gonna find some side quests I can actually be assed to do

Its ... quite boring imo. You really only see the fort guarding it (and yo udont see that for long) and the fort looks like any othr fort you see in game, only slightly bigger. You arent missing out on anything.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
I can't get arathorn
I haven't used any off my friends list in ages, they're all either way below or above my level....
Though I did use Zero and Yvette for a long time, they were awesome. Is yvette a sorcerer? I thought she was just a normal mage? I swear sorcerers can't heal too...
Anyway now that my PSN is working again, time to sidequest and hopefully get some better equipment

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Okay guys... where the hell can I get better gear? I've gotten weapons from the shops now that seem to be good.. But they're not good enough.
As I said before, I went to the place to fight the dragon and the regular enemies destroyed me before I could get near the dragon. I did virtually no damage with supposedly the best weapons available (only upgraded once, but I've never been one to go on a upgrade hunt), and I seem to get killed stupidly easy by them too, though I don't particularly like the look of the better armour and I would have thought over 300 defence both regular and magic would be enough...
Seriously, I have no idea what to do now. There's virtually no quests for me to do (that give me decent experience or useful stuff at least) and I can't do the dragon bit.. Is there literally nothing for me to do now except grind or something? :|

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Well at level 40 I actually ran past those enemies and just went and killed th edragon. That was a mistake, as you will be fighting more of those enemies soon. There should be more quests, Bio got to 60 before he fough tth edragon. Did you give the armourer an idol?

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
I gave caxton a silver idol, but the weapons you unlock after in the story surpass those the silver idol get him.. Which makes then endevour seem a bit pointless..
I have some quests, not many though and none really give me a lot of XP.. I've done an escort for 20 000 xp but obviously bit of a drop in the ocean.. There is boards in the churches supposedly on the map but I can't find them.. Where are they?
I think I'll just have to try and level up best I can, run through all the caverns everywhere and just get all the chests in the catacombs and place near great wall i forget the name of... I might travel to blue moon tower too, that place had a few corners and such I should probably explore..
I look at my guys stats and he's got like 400 less health than my pawn, 40 less strenght.. it's pretty ridiculous why has my levels done nothing compared to my pawn?

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
My pawn has changed between fighter, warrior, strider and ranger, but I'm keeping her as a ranger now. She's called Nariko.
My guy started off as strider, I've played him as fighter and warrior a tad for HP boost abilities but mainly played him as either mystic Knight and magic archer, both of those are at vocation level 8/9 whichever is 2nd highest
you know anything about the non-existant notice boards in the churches?

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Ah I was wondering whose she was, but I had to drop her to get Yvette so I could actually heal cause my main is a sorceror. I ant really understand how a ranger has mor hp/str than a warrior fighter. I mean mystic warriorshould grab you enough hp to beat it.
Im rpobably gonna change my guy from mystic to assassin. I mean the buffs are nice and all but I never block and the game is so much easier with a bow.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Yeah I don't understand it really.. The whole games levelling up and stats makes no sense as you don't choos where they go.. Then again the majority of the level ups I played with her as warrior and mine as magic archer so that's probably why there's a notable difference.
lol yeah, I finally cracked on using higher level pawns to help me.. I got one who's someones called hana.. Though she's level 78 and still got steamrolled by the badass **** trice in the underground of that place near great wall

Unless I hire her dough?
tempted, though think she'll be a bit over whelmed.. Maybe I'd buy her a load of equipment so she's still relevant

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
She still exists.. your new one doesn't though :| What level is your new one? I would have thought it would take over once your new pawn is a higher level than shana.
Or maybe since the pawns don't seem to level up it remains static till I make a new file and erase my old one?

Shana's level 23, that's evidently why he hasn't come up yet.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Oh I see. Obviously because of the uni internet I guess? At least in england you have to plug in, it's not wireless so that would be why
I'm always online when I play so I can update my pawns if I feel the need, though for now I should be okay
What's assassin like? I haven't really touched it but it looks like quite an interesting class, though the bows you're limited to are the weak strider ones.. If I was assassin I'd probably rock a sword and a bow, I love the look of the one handed sword.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
I LOVE assassin. Sure the augs arent that great nor are the abilities but really all you need is burst strike and the a bow secondary. You're so versatile, can do a ton of damage and be effective at any range. The only downside being the lack of good augs and other skills (imo). i think its best if you go something like rnager/magick archer then transfer into it so you have some nice skills, good augs and the versatility it offers.
