Where have all the forest hunters gone?

If you look at the For the Glory thread, most hunters actually support this. Those people make it harder for us to deal with gankers, and reap the rewards of our kills. So, screw them. Drain as much humanity as you want. If you have an acid surge as well, feel free to break their armor. I know I do when I host.

haha i love pyromancy, most of the good spells arent even fire XD. i once made lower undead burg all kill themselves with undead rapport.

I wonder if it would help to lower the ganker numbers, if the soul gain from a killed forest hunter was lowered somehow, like depending on number of gankers or just because it is in the forest, I mean sure you can gank on dark moon members too, but I guess you would need to wait longer for that, since they can invade anywhere + a bit more in londo. But forest hunters appear only in forest, so their appearance is more concentrated.

They should just divide the reward between the host and his phantoms. If the host is alone he gets it all, one phantom its split in half, 2 phantoms its divided amongst 3.

I think that the summoned ganker does get lower number of souls, maybe half? But still... ganking forest is way too... what's the word... lucrative?

Yeah phantoms get less, but hosts don't. So hit hosts where it hurts and maybe we'll see les ganks.

I mean, killing gankers is so fun. Why would you want to give us less gankers to kill?

Problem with ganking is the amount of souls it provides scales fiercely with soul level , unlike PvE if we had some kind of monster that got harder with your level (Mirror opponents are always popular) there might be less ganking demand.

I don’t think gankers gank for souls, except for in the forest.

Not in nearly the same concentration, I used to be a prolific darkwraith and I never realy had any gankers...

Tell a lie, now that I think about it there was one guy who I ran into irritatingly often, more one in 20 than the one in 3 you get in the forest xD
