I don't know if your send the final fantasy XIII--2 is coming out soon...it is supposed to be pretty good from what I hear. You could try that or some other game for a while.

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
i'm bored of the game too
pvp sucks due to the well known reasons already mentioned in the forum, and once you finish the game the next playthrough gets extremely boring. The only thing i enjoy is co-op. But again at lvl 150 you might wait hours for a summon. Yesterday i was lucky to get a summon by a decent guy, we did NG+ burg, parish, lower burg and catacombs in one go and it was fun! But hosts like that dont come by easily.. sometimes you might wait all night and not get a summon. I'm thinking of quiting DS too :/

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
I'm really looking forward to this DLC. I hope its almost like an old school PC expansion pack (Blizzard style!) with a ton of new content and areas to explore but I'm not going to hold my breath. Fortunately 2012 looks like its going to be an incredible year with Twisted Metal, SSX, Diablo 3, Starcraft: HotS, Silent Hill, Bioshock Infinite... Plenty to look forward to...
I'm going to try and see how much more I can squeeze out of the PvP here, since it's the only thing I still really enjoy... Maybe get competitive in Starcraft again to kill the time

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
Azeroth used to be Huge before the realese of WoW, just check the warcraft 3 frozen throne maps, but after WoW, they just could not make the world much bigger that actually is. :/

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
ok but they did add more content, plus a whole new continent (outland it was called i think?)
it kept you motivated
well to put it simply... there is no way you can achieve everything in wow
i wish dark souls was that huge as well but to keep the bosses soloable as they are now

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
Outland already existed and it was bigger, what makes the game fun is that they keep adding new stuff, wich I would like in DS

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
Perhaps a tech specialist can confirm this but i think pc's have the capacity to host huge games like wow while the PS3 can not. Could this be true?

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
LOL PS3's are pretty powerful if you look at the Spec for them
but considering games like skyrim where the game messed up on a PS3 far quicker when on PC it continues to run well, safe to say PCs are better for running and hosting large games

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
if that's the case we should not have high expectations for a 'rich' dlc... sucks :/

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
If you haven't making low level builds is a lot of fun. I have a level 32 darkwraith that has 40 dex and 14 str to use my bbop +15 and iaito +15 and it's a lot of fun invading sen's, forest and anor londo. You could also try a "glass cannon" build and have 40 str and 50 int. My 120 has 40 str and 50 int and i have a lot of fun either 1-2 shotting with CSS or 1 shotting with my demon great machete buffed with CMW and self buff with power within. I get plenty indictments as well!

Re: Putting Down Dark Souls...
only reason low level is fun is because the low levels are rarely if ever expecting/prepared for pvp. so 1 shotting them is easy no matter your stats.
of course you'll find it fun if you win 100% of fights easily.
