Like I said, taste of their own medicine. And I would only go along with the part were everyone hides and bs him before he bc's out.

Re: For the Glory of Alvina
Well I have been trying out dual wielding and I must say I'm enjoying it so far. It really opens up a lot more ways to deal damage plus it appears your opponent is constantly guessing which hand you are going to attack with Now if I only can get a decent fight rather than having the host disconnect. Some of these campers actually think I am going to run up to them when they have DMB or SLB active - I always sit back and have a cup of coffee til the buff runs out. A lot of campers appear to rely on buffs for the extra kick and usually get pissed when I do this . That is one reason I don't rely on power buffs when I fight - strictly cold steel majority of the time. I usually only use buffs to even the odds (like if they have buffed) or as a finishing move.
Has anyone seriously used dual wielding and how was your experience with it? Always trying to find that extra edge to win.

Yes, I have dual wielded Washing poles before - it is very interesting, also I have dual wielded Moonlight BFH - it strikes your opponent off game.

Infamous I knew you would have tried dual wielding out - thanks for feedback . I am trying to perfect it before the start of the summer invasion - so dual wielding is the configuration I'm going to use from here on out.
@Befowler - hey bro haven't seen you in a while but I knew you were still fighting the good fight . I hope you will be lending your blade on 6/23 - its time for some more deadly fun.

Per recommendation some long time back on this thread, I've taken to using the Murakumo and having a quick change weapon in the Moonlight BFH. Very good tips for killing gankers

Had finals week recently(Algebra 2 almost killed me, new type of gank all together), add in an internship and it has been a rather busy few weeks for me. Still fought hard for the forest though.

So I see in your avatar - looks like you just are giving evils to a host after killing his two phantoms.

And speaking of that, won my first 1v3, felt like a god. unfortunately it is the only one I have ever been in. Does Xbox have less phantoms available for people? Or am I just an unlucky guy for not finding any fights of that magnitude.

I would personally say you are lucky, although spotting the rainbow brigade is funny. I want to actually get a picture of me in a line with a 1v4 gank xD upload it to the pictures thread with caption: Me and the Rainbow brigade... They don't appear to happy with me

Re: For the Glory of Alvina
haha, i wish you luck on that mission.
In the one fight of it I had it seemed that groups of 3 just act over confident, and don't even bother to roll the second they see a spell or a sword swinging towards them. Where as in a 2v1 they just are focused on killing you, knowing that it is much more dangerous with just 2 against one FH making them play better. If I was a psychologist, or brain doctor i€'m sure I'd know some weird term for this complex.

Emo - I see a rainbow bunch from time to time. The last time I encountered one did not go well for me because I invaded right at the stairs where they were already grouped up. I basically swung like crazy and went down swinging. I PM'd the group and told them they had a colorful bunch of guys. Surpisingly I did not get any smart remarks so it was all good.Just a danger of being a hunter I guess.
I also agree a 2v1 is more dangerous than a 3v1 simply because in the latter type of bang they are usually overconfident. The day I beat a 3v1 will indeed be a glorious one.

Re: For the Glory of Alvina
"False sense of security," the phrase that you seek.
3v1 ganks, make them think they aren't weak.
While a duo of goons, recalls they are mortal,
and hence will take caution when you come out the portal.
A trio of jerks, I see forget shields.
Yet loners and twosomes fear the scythe my toon wields.

Re: For the Glory of Alvina
Wow, Im a potent guy.
Slashing up the host, and his poltergeists
leave their abdomens open, they knew they shouldn't fight
now that their leaking blood, just like an open pipe.
"I couldn't hope to swipe"
"I shouldn't gank, alright!?"
"Why oh why, did he destroy us guys?"
Because of my omnipotence. "Now time to die!"

Re: For the Glory of Alvina
Just a quick clarification, the rainbow bunch would be, a host, a sunbro, a phantom, and a darkwraith? Have yet to see one of those, when I do they will rue the day they entered the land of Alvina.
@Amos did you at least allow them to be prepared to die?

Re: For the Glory of Alvina
I usually win 3v1s by running around a lot and turning it into 3 1v1s instead. But others have a lot of success with AOE spells or using chokepoints like Alvina's bridge. Most farmers are overconfident to a fault (at least until the host is alone and then they panic quit), but part of it is they are willing to take some damage in order to kill you faster and keep their farming rate up. By running away and dodging alot, you slow down their farming and actually hurt them more sometimes than even flat out killing them, which in turn annoys and frustrates them, which in turn makes them careless and dead.
The best farmer victory to me isn't one where you sail in and just kill them quickly, because they'll just respawn and start up again. It's where you waste their time for 20 minutes and then kill them in the and anyway (ideally somewhere really far from the bonfire so the host has to trek all the way back there for their bloodstain too - bonus points if it is down near the Hydra so they have to contend with that).

Jason, my Amos you might show up Skare,
on the gimmick he's doing from off-topic dares.
Your style shows change, and hits like a moose.
While silly old Skare is stuck sounding like Seuss.

Re: For the Glory of Alvina
Why did you get me addicted to writing these.
Okay I'm gettin in my f**kin zone, Comin for them hundred souls
& If you get up in my way then Ima bust ya f**kin dome
Run up in ya summon's home, & I hope his brother's home
So I can make him hold em while I upper cut the damn sunbro.
But first you know that imma make you wet
So imma scare the s**t out you before I make him face his death
I won't even break a sweat, when I go to take him breath.
I'll just grab my Uchi-Yes and cut him on the face and chest.
Grab him by the jaw and twist until he breaks his neck.
Then look up at you like "Hi can I stay for break-fast".
but before I finish the sentence
I'll grab you by the throat and make you plead for your repentance.
Then I'll kick you in the gut, watch you upchuck your yuck lunch
shove your face in it whilst you cough up a muck chunk
If you don't fight back, I'll take your face out & make him watch me and the darkwraith says he doubts (he'll win).
Euh, Now you don't want that
So I suggest you stay back whilst I take that paystack (souls)
Before you call a friend, I'll find where his place is at
and have hunters all around it like a crazy space cat(Alvina)
So go a head and put that weap down
before I assault you with my missiles
It'll make you Pee Wee and See I joke with Cloudy-eki
But first you'll die, by I Like that nooby SB(Sunbro)
