Okay... I think I understand the lore a little bit. Thanks, i'll keep them in mind when I need to be part of a conversation here that is less posts of pictures and videos.

Re: Brony Thread
You mean what many call 'Pinkie Pie'? I've seen enough roosterteeth and this thread to understand that one.

Well, if you know already what it is that they call a "Pinkie Pie" then it certainly looks like you're well on your way to full-fledged Bronyism. :00044:

I don't think I can truly be a brony, but I think that it is a.... relevant thing to know, since that culture is part of this society known as the DkS Community.
Besides, Roosterteeth has a good amount of credit for putting it in my head... thanks Michael. he is a brony apparently... an angry one at that:

Hi there, Wade.
You missed the moment were I saw the light and became a brony.
And Acidic voted for your avatar in my thread, where you can vote for your favourite avatar and signature in the Forums. I'd have voted for yours, but since I am the organizer, I kind of won't vote at all.

You keep asking this, but I'll tell you no. Somehow, we've converted a handful more people to join the fandom ( :00041: ) without even trying and Reaper's been dying in Super Meat Boy a lot.
Other than that though, Acidic_Cook has voted for your avatar as the best avatar in the Forums, everyone's one pins and needles for DkS DLC and MLP:FiM Season 3, and I'm one chapter away from finishing your Dash of Applesauce fanfic.
Hey, i was the one who voted for Wades avatar

Re: Brony Thread
So, pardon my ignorance, but can someone explain to me why Ms. Lauren Faust decided to leave the show so early in the series' life?
I freely admit that I don't know every little thing about MLP (I'm trying to learn, I swear ) I mean, just look at the conversation I had recently with Cook about the show, I'm sure I messed up a whole bunch. But I've always found this to be quite curious, why did the show's creator leave what has been such a successful project?

In all fairness, she does to put food on her table.. though for her it's more like getting an italian sports car in your garage and a house worth 7 figures.

Re: Brony Thread
She said it was kinda difficult to deal with the fact that she's in the US while the show is made on Canada. Or something like that.
I guess there were also some conceptual differences between her and Hasbro (she tried to give some episodes a darker edge.)

If that's the reason then shame on Hasbro. Who can fault a show's creator for wanting to challenge her product artistically?

That's pretty much the story of life as we know it here on Earth in that big old industry of TV. Holla holla get a dolla.

Re: Brony Thread
Things like these, mostly, were blocked by Hasbro (thus far; they may retake the idea).
- A pony abandoned in the woods, trying to pass by a deer so he doesn't have to consider his tragic abandonment situation.
- Scootaloo being incapable of flying, even though she admires Rainbow Dash. Also, they have been kind of giving hints towards this idea in-episode.
- Applebucking? Heck no, APPLEBUMPING. Yup, no sleep deprivation for AJ. Head trauma instead!
Things like these.
Also: My big brother best friend forever! Damn, why are the final songs so catchy. No I do not love the groom GET THEM OUT OF MY HEAD.

Re: Brony Thread
I think it might have worked a bit better if they did have a bit more of a darker edge to a few of the too lighthearted parts of the series. Not an extreme amount, but enough for a kid to still be able to take in the full meaning of the episode.

Re: Brony Thread
Maybe to balance all the lightheartedness they should make "Cupcakes" a full length episode. I'd sure as hell watch that.

The only reliable way I've found to remove a song from your head is to replace it with something even catchier. A less reliable way that sometimes ends up working is listening to the song that you have stuck over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over until your mind decides it's tired of the song. The first way comes with putting yourself into a vicious cycle of never-ending music, and the second comes with you losing appreciation with the song. Pick whichever you decide is the lesser of two evils :|
