You have summed up the horror that is that situation. I find certain music repetitions such as binaural beats and likewise low toned songs can take my mind off of it easily.

Imagine the humiliation. She idolizes Rainbow Dash, certainly the most talented non-Wonderbolt flyer in all of Equestria (and possibly the best flyer in the land, full stop) while she herself cannot even get off the ground.

I wonder how'd she cope, and Rainbow's not the most sympathetic pony when it comes to physical shortcomings. She might struggle at first to come to terms with the fact that her surrogate sister can't fly.

Interesting developments to be sure...

I always thought they weren't, that Rainbow just watched over her, for what reason, I don't rightly know. I do think Scootaloo's backstory really should be fleshed out in the new season. A lot of unanswered questions surrounding that little pony.

Scootaloo is just a standalone pony to my understanding. She doesn't have any close relationship with any of the ponies outside of her fellow CMCs who she just happened to be classmates with. As to her connection with Rainbow Dash, I don't think it extends anywhere beyond Scootaloo's admiration of her. This admiration could potentially be expanded on to the point where her and Rainbow Dash become more connected (Scootaloo is revealed to be handicapped, Rainbow Dash tries to teach her to fly, whether Scootaloo succeeds or not they become more connected?), but right now that's about the extent to where their relationship rests in my eyes.

I heard some speculate that she may be biologically related in some way to Fluttershy. This is just coming off a message board which I cannot recall at present, so I can't vouch for the credibility of the information. Shrug

Ponies are an odd sort indeed... You guys should add a chimera into the franchise somehow.

You have dragons and many mythical versions of ponies along with normal ponies, as well as creatures that are probably not known at all in other things (or has less attachment)... They should add a Chimera.

The white one of Dark Souls should be a good reference
