That's my stepdaughter's name. I added a thread this morning in general. Been rocking the colors

I only just realized that Skare's avatar is a gremlin. I love that movie and I somehow didn't notice... I HAVE DISHONORED MY FAMILY!

I wouldn't sweat it. I had links to my shield designs with funny captions (to me anyway) in my sig and I think it got me a whopping zero looks/votes. Not even a comment or question. Signatures aren't really that effective it seems

The movesets for Artorias are loosely based off the movesets for Sif.
Example, Sif has an attack in which he spins around twice.
Artorias has a faster version of this attack.
They both have a jumping flip like attack.
The both have basic horizontal slashes.
They both have a dashing horizontal slash too if I'm not mistaken.
Although Sif doesn't have the goop, dark charge, high jump attack, jump flip, and the dashing stab. He also doesn't have the stab either.

Sif and Artorias were known to be connected even before the DLC came out, it's no surprise they share the same moveset.

The spirit of Artorias lives on in Sif!
Sort of...I mean, we use his actual spirit/soul for neat stuff but his memory lives on. Until we kill Sif that is.....
Hmmmm....this is kinda sad

I'm surprised that no one has shoved this into the Tomb of Giants.

I know, I just thought it was cool that they did that.Dibsville wrote:Sif and Artorias were known to be connected even before the DLC came out, it's no surprise they share the same moveset.

It's very cool. I actually almost died from getting sidetracked the first time I saw the double spin move. I was all like, "yeeeeeeesssss"
I did lose, but I recovered (barely) from my excitement

When you sit down at a bonfire while holding a shield, you don't put the shield away -- it actually shrinks to nothingness on your arm. I somehow went almost 2 years before spotting this. It's particularly obvious if you use a symmetrical shield like a stone greatshield or sunlight shield and turn the camera sideways to stare at it before you sit down. Lore explanation: a wizard did it.

Don't real shields do that?

many different weapon types have different kicks, not just fist weapons.
my personal favorite is the pole arm kick, i believe it has slightly better reach.

They all kick yes, but some in different ways, try it out; be very careful to look at the slight differences

The ones that I know are shields in the R hand have a push, maces and axes have a heavy kick, swords have a quick kick, and polearms have a long kick.Hachouma wrote:Pole arm kick? it's...a normal kick?UmbasaOtter wrote:many different weapon types have different kicks, not just fist weapons.

The pillars in the O and S fight don't have to fully break
Also, since I was in the area, I figured I'd compare the two paintings I think are Gwyndolin. I'm more convinced than ever

Man-Serpents are so cool they can lean on air.
Today when I was clearing Sen's Fortress before my saves pooped on me I turned the boulder to save Logan and when I went down there after letting a boulder lose the Man-Serpent was just standing there leaning on nothing taking his nap.

A useless fact I find interesting:
That Bows are amazing in PvP, yet they are terrible.

You can get Indited by people you kill as a Forest Hunter. What a pansy.

You just have to be present even to be indicted. I've had tons of times I invaded just in time to see someone else kill the host. And get indicted

Wow seriously? That's lame. I though it was one per indictment.
I still think it's a lousy thing to do though; they go into the Forest as a human and they know they're gonna get Hunted, yet they are such sore losers they have to indict you if you kill them.

I view them as a badge of honor. I was quite proud of Broke and I when we bumped into the top 100, and then I immediately lost that position when I stopped playing for 6 months...
