    I just like fire weapons. I feel like you earn the right to them by braving the Catacombs early, plus they're cool.

    Edit, plus it's pretty fun to cause trouble for Vega.

    I like +5 for Depths. Though I do understand the concerns of Ghadis with the fact many of us are wearing advanced armors, that are in alot of cases upgraded. My +5 Clay was perfectly appropriate, but some of the smaller weapons were really underperforming, I just don't know what to do.

    I understand his concern too. There is just no way to balance this because as it was pointed out a +10 zwei is not the same as a +10 straight sword. so even if we went up there is still no balance. I think a +10 pyro, pine resin, charcoal resin, a better weapon at +5 is a good way to go. I have already decided when we make our run through Btown we will start the level with weapons at +10.

    I would also add that anything anyone needs can be supplied.

    Yeah I agree, I just felt kind of bad when the Estoc and Rapier users hit me for 22 dmg due to my two pieces of Black Iron lol

    I am going to put some armor restrictions for the next few stops. I am still using the tattered cloth armor.

    The spawn point is by the rats. If I'm waiting for invasions, I normally wait by the stairs so I can be at the other end of the hall when the invader shows up.

    I am so used to just walking slowly back and forth to the basiliks while farming and I usually don't hang out there once I am done farming. Before I used to hang out in the bonfire room. Usually as soon as I heard the invasion sound I would go down the first set of stairs and hide against the wall. The would usually run past me and I would then strike!

    I wasn't "just" using a longsword, it was an example. I had a Battle Axe, Server, Estoc, Lucerne, and Longsword, none were very effective at +5. I also tried the charcoal buff, and it added maybe 40 damage a hit on other people, maybe even less. That is a good point about the heavier weapons at +10, but that is a part of balance that those weapons be more powerful, as at 120 they're balanced differently.

    I recall now that you did set up with the Lucerne.. hmmmmmmmmmm this is indeed a fine line.
    Maybe this is a difficult question to answer but did you notice a lot of players with heavier armors?
    I don't know what to tell you Ghadis. I think the all the weapons you mentioned are better than a +5 reinforced club. execpt for the longsword. I do agree some of my matches where a bit long but that is a change for the good from getting 1 or 2 shotted.

    Dp you use a pyro flame?

    No, I used a SL 20 GL toon I already had for the event, and I never used pyro. I know all the guys who did the SL1 in the burg had one due to starting as a pyro, but I didn't attend that one, so I guess I'll get one. I saw a few guys in pieces of heavier armor, but it's not like anyone was flipping in full Giant's. I still had a lot of fun with the event but I didn't bb glitch this toon so I didn't have the options other players did. You'd really be surprised how much difference the hands and feet of heavy armor make at that level, especially when I was in all light for fast roll.

    I didn't really have much difficulty inflicting about 200 damage a poke with my +5 rapier and scimitar I didn't have a +10 legging or gauntlets though, so I took more damage than I gave most of the time.

    But I also neglected vit and had about 30 dex at the time. So it could have caused some difference. I was kind of worried when I saw some of the armour, but it didn't turn out as bad as I thought. I also didn't BB and just had wanderer legs and eastern gauntlets I think. I honestly don't think its a problem, but when armour goes up to +15 we should have +15 weapons as well I'd think. Rather than +10 weapons and +15 armour in blight town.

    @ Yukon, which armor pieces go up to +15? I thought they only went up to +10 and the twinky armor.

    Dark, I'm totally happy with the server and estoc, I don't need new weapons or items. And Yukon, yeah, the 30 Dex. would explain it, but I was doing 20 damage a poke with the Estoc, I'm surprised there was so much of a difference, perhaps the increasing returns of AR only really start after a certain level of damage.

    I was actually thinking about this last night and came up with a great idea. How about we do an AR cap instead of an upgrade cap? Say a cap of 250?

    For example the +5 clay was about 210 I think with my stats, but Glatts said his Uchi was only about 160. So he could take his uchi up to about +8 and it would match the AR of the clay.

    This would essencially even the playing field and would make a couple more weapons more viable. Daggers could probably go up to +15 to balance them out.

    Any thoughts?
