Well imo the manga sucks. It was just badly drawn and confusing.

Atleast it sucks in a way that it's actually enjoyable to watch. Unlike a certain new show that's being over hyped.

I actually agree with Eki about it being overhyped. Sure, its decent, but people give it waaaaay to credit.

Re: Sword Art Online
I like both of them....seeing as the same person wrote the two. Its something I personally havent seen in anime.... I never like Hack all that much but Accel World and Sword Art really appeals to me.
I never really liked all those anime people called classic....like Cowboy Beebop, or Code Geass, or Samurai Champloo....sure they were good just nothing special IMO.
HOwever back on Sword Art related news... I like the latest boss they revealed twas very cool!

I invaded a guy's whose PSN was: Kirito-(Numbers). Too bad she wasnt even remotely as cool as Kirito. Wore maiden's robes, ganked, and healed her phantoms and let them do all the work.

Re: Sword Art Online
Good thing rep doesn't count for a thing here.
My biggest complaint is SAO didn't deliver on it's premise. The idea of a couple thousand people trapped in a bizarre place, where death means exactly that, but they're given a way, dangerous a way it is, to return home.
It was set up in such a way that I thought it would be closer to .hack//sign, which was a character study anime. It would have been so interesting to see Kirito, the antisocial muppet that he's supposed to be, struggle to survive, build REAL bonds, and have him feel so many conflicting emotions and ideas.
Instead what I got was a poorly paced story following Kirito, Blank Character Extraordinaire. Watch Kirito be super amazing. Watch Kirito have generic romance/Slice of Life scenes with Asuna, Blank Character the Sequel. Watch Kirito have 'teh sexes'. Watch Kirito save a helpless girl so the girl can fall in love with him.
If they're gonna follow all of the novels, then it's not worth it because the beginning novels all make Kirito and Asuna far to Mary Sue-ish for me. It's only later on that it starts to get a bit better.

Re: Sword Art Online
It gets better? Good because it was going down the drain pretty much after he joined the knights i mean a little bit of romance is fine but 3min's of action per episode is a bit lame...
They should make a guild of super overpowered beta testers that would demand Kirito to join them, kill Kirito revive him with that 10sec revive thing so everyone thinks hes dead and then spice it up with some super overpowered bosses and weapons.

Re: Sword Art Online
Thing is it would be a 3rd season thing, AFTER they left SAO and GGO and started on ALO, because when you think about it, the writer should have looked at these old novels and been ashamed at what he wrote.
And this isn't me being cynical, it's a real thing among artists of any media. Looking back on our old work and realizing how much we've improved, old shames are just an embarrassing thing since you thought at a time that it was genius only to realize just how many flaws it has.
Prime example in webcomic form:
His early work
His work 2 years later
How much should the author have improved between SAO first being written and finally releasing SAO as an anime? The first novel was finished and posted on the net in 2002, during the MMO boom. He's had 10 years to go back and alter the story and characters.

Thank you, person. And I really don't feel like this anime is gonna be remembered as well as everyone is saying it will be.
Also, don't ever trust crunchyroll reviews. MyAnimeList is better about it, but only just.
