Re: Sword Art Online
  Its like another evangelion, they at least had an excuse for a bad ending, its so rushed! Why?! If they make a slice of life with them in the real world i will laugh at what a mistake they have made...

I couldn't get into .hack either. I, embarrassingly, admit that it was probably the old graphics which made me dislike it.

I'm not going to lie, I laughed through this entire episode. It was just hilarious and so ungodly cheesy. BUT ALO.

SAO isnt over. Its two cours, it'll move onto ALO. Which is better, because SAO was the worst main novel.

Re: Sword Art Online
When I think of GGO, I'd like to imagine it being close to S4 league, which was a great F2P game til they introduced the cash shop.
What bugged me is that Kirito still gets by on pure melee. In S4 that isn't to viable do to the fact that you'd get torn to shreds by multiple people's gunfire (still possible thanks to the stylish movement but requires insane levels of dedication to do). At that point I just grew tired of the LN, never read passed that.

Re: Sword Art Online
I highly doubt I'd enjoy it. Kirito is forever a Gary Stu in my book, lest they knock him firmly from his high horse and give him a GOOD reason to get back on it.

Kirito only appears in two-three scenes. And even in the scene where he fights, he loses.

Re: Sword Art Online
I looked into it, just a plot summary of the first 3 chapters. Yeeeaaaah, not my cup o' tea because it still doesn't do anything interesting.

Re: Sword Art Online
I think Eki's point is that if you are going through different RPG's and one's focus is the use of guns.....its kind of stupid that he is chosen over and over again to have the rarest skills and abilities.... even I dont like that.

Re: Sword Art Online
As well, S4 league Melee isn't an instant kill unless you use specific combos. At most you can take a guy to below half HP (if they don't have HP mastery on) with luck avoiding getting your own eaten up by bullets.
