Ya it's new. Also at 1:13-1:14 that appears to be some new armor maybe even Ciaran's (I'm just thinking hopefully. Really want to know what she looked like).

I think the armor was Uncle Arty's when you find it and start wearing it. Would look silly if Arty and Ciaran had similar looking armor.

If this is really is Lord Blade's Ciaran, then this one definitely is a badass. That armor, man~~~ *drool*

I think that is Artorias' armor. What with the large degree of difference between Havel, Ornstein, and now Artorias, I don't see why they would make Arty and Cairin so similar.

I can't see how it's Artorias's. The helm is completely different (it appears to have a golden visor and darker in color) and the rest of the armor seems to be different color and more light weight from Artorias's as well. It may not be Cairin's armor but I don't think it's Arty's either.

Really? The head piece and the chest piece seem different too me. Overall, it seems much softer looking than Artorias's set. And this person(?) is dual wielding and performing an elegant sword dance...

If you look, it resembles the black cleric outfit, as well the character is dual wielding dagger like weapons we haven't seen. It might be the Hornet Knight, but more interesting is the implication of the armor.

While true, I just don't think they are going to make both Arty and Cairin both blackish armor with blue flowy robes, ya know? It's just my personal opinion, who knows whose right.

It doesn't matter who is right, since that armor is badass either way, and that's all I really care about... *Sigh* The DLC... how much longer must we wait...

At the bottom of the first page, I was starting up an analysis of that new armor. It resembles a combination of the Gold Hemmed outfit, in regards to the cloth and materials used. However, in style it resembles the black cleric set, with how the cloak is set up, the shoulder cape, the mask design as well as sleeves and leggings.

That explains why I felt something was strangely familiar... it really does look a lot like Oswald's costume (seriously, that helmet and mask!) and I just noticed that the left hand's weapon looks an awful lot like the Kris Blade from Demon's Souls... Maybe this isn't Ciaran but Velka? Well, perhaps it's little too far-fetched... Either way, I'm convinced this character is female, mostly due to the fact that costume seems to have some sort of the soft-looking elements of the Gold-Hemmed Black set, as you mentioned.

Well in note to relation to the knights, the Leg armor, and belly/back armor of this set resemble's Ornsteins in color and design. Also the daggers in hand are Kris, blades well known for their link to snakes and ancestral spirits and family names. They are mostly ceremonial, though also back in the day they could be used for combat. Interesting to note that it has barbs like teeth, as well with how they are held this weapon works in reverse compared to a normal dagger, the blade is within the arc of the weapon meaning it is designed to either stab, or swing and be dragged back across flesh. However the bards would make it less effective for piercing, so this weapon is not designed for fighting against armor. Instead it is designed for tearing apart flesh, in fact it would be incredibly devastating if this was stabbed into the body as the barbs point inwards like a harpoon. Meaning that this is for soft targets, to be stabbed in then pulled out for maximum effect. Meaning, critical attacks would be incredible with it...Similar to the hornet's ring. I believe this is our lost Knight.
