Agreed. One should earn their coins as I did. Through buiness ventures. Remember back in the day when the Zena Peddler Princes were around..... I made 67 Bronze Coins, 99 Silver Coins, and 45 Gold Coins through trades with random people!

@ Viral: I actually like the coin idea, partially because it puts is somewhat in direct opposition to those damned pirates. Also due to it being only one of the pursuits it somewhat lessens the effevtiveness of BBing.

Im actually looking for 5 maybe 6 pursuits. Mainly to make the whole system somewhat flexible but still requiring members to complete all to rank up to the upper reaches.

Actually, rep based. I was thinking the more upreps you get after joining, like say 10 and you earn academia. Because if you want to go by lore, I WAS technically a magic professor in the archives for a bit.

And the problem with Virals idea is that, while you could of course ask for people to qoute you, like dough said, you can`t do anything to make sure you are actually qouted.
It really isn`t in your own hands if you can actually manage to fulfill this pursuit or not.
The 4. Pursuit was actually planned to be based around "research" but frankly I could not see a way to do this. The problem with that would be how to do that, presenting a sound theory about a piece of Dark Souls lore?
