So I start my umpteenth character last night.
2,000+ hours of Dark Souls.
I always fine-tune the facial features with the character creator but have never been too impressed with how few options it has.
I hit the d-pad on accident and... HOLY **** THERE'S A 2ND PAGE TO THE CHARACTER MODIFICATION OPTIONS????? All this time, all the characters, and I had no idea most of the options (nose, mouth, jaw, whatever) have a 2nd page.

I recently noticed that the axe's jumping attack stagger. I thought that that they didn't have it, since the halberd's jumping attacks don't stagger. This is not important in any way whatsoever

I totally forgot about one of my biggest /facepalm moments recently. I kept seeing you all talk about the BB glitch but I didn't know what it was so I read up on it. Until then I had no idea you could have more than 4 characters. I'd never scrolled down to see that there are more character slots. I've deleted many a character cuz I thought I was limited to 4.

That some equipment offers bonus stats. Found out last week i believe it was, when someone on these forums posted a build with Crown of Dusk.

Another one... I didn't know up until I was researching creating a SunBro character about a month ago that Estus flasks heal your summoned allies. I hadn't summoned many people up until that point, but man... to those few who attempted helping me when I didn't know I could heal you, THANK YOU!!! ..and I'm sorry...

also learned you dont have to be in the dragon cov to use the chest stone lol
also ALSO!!! learned that you couldn't see the status bars of the people ur inflicting a status on (>_<) I ignored the gravelord sword for too long cause of this (mental thought at the time: damn broke sword full of lies...)
super also: learned that you dont have to kill Gwynivere to fight Gwyndilin >_<
more also: you can zoom in with bows
also for justice: you can kill the basin Hydra without removing every head

That merchants won't sell certain things if you've already had certain dealings with some of the other merchants in the game.

I only just yesterday discovered the Tower Kite and Caduceus Kite shields shield with 72 stability fully upgraded and only 3 pounds. Been playing almost a year and never knew about them...

Perhaps Pendent meant some things can only be bought once. If you by the repair box from that guy in Undead Burg, then you can't buy it from Andre.

Havel's shield gives you a buff instead of bashing someone in the face with it. I was wondering what it did so I pressed LT, when my guy stood still I was confused...when suddenly..rocks all over my body!

Power within is actually good.
PVP is fun.
I'm good with spears, or at least better than i am with most greatswords.
The crystal cave is bigger and has more walkways than i thought.
Invading as a darkmoon can have me invading people far lower than my SL.
