Help with weapons and set

It all depends on how you play. They're both really good.

The Murakumo swings fairly slow also. If you don't like that, the Washing Pole might be a better choice. It's big and swings fast.

Of course there are all kinds of other weapons outside these 3 also. Those are just the 3 choices I saw as best with your current stats, and where you could go with them. Anybody else have any other recommendations for those stats?

Murakumo and zwei both swing slow, however, the murakumo is the faster of the two. I would also recommend looking at halberds and try the claymore.

It may now, but it scales with both strength and dexterity. So if you raise both of those stats, and upgrade the Claymore along the standard upgrade path, with Andre, it'll start getting a lot more powerful.

We can't say this enough:

While damage helps immensely, the true factor in success is to find a weapon type that you can use effectively and with great comfort.

I recommend spears and halberds as well, those are really nice.

What weapon types do you like best? Slow or fast?

Well, if you want a large weapon that can attack relatively fast, I would recommend these:

Washing pole
Gargoyle's halberd
Claymore
Butcher's knife


Those are the fastest "large" weapons i know. Anything that hits harder than those are slow and very heavy.

A good weapon however is the falchion. Attacks fast, and can do pretty good base dmg. Buff it to do even more dmg.

Those are all good choices, for fast/high damage weapons. The Great Scythe isn't a bad choice either. Any of the Halberd type weapons really.

Try the Halberd or the Scythe and see if you like either of them. The Butcher Knife is good also, but it'd be kind of a waste to use with your stats, because it only scales with strength and you've leveled strength and dexterity already.

Don't make your judgment based on how much damage your doing with them, because nothing is going to do good damage without being upgraded as far as you are into the game. Just look at their moves and see what you like.

You should also have someone coach you on how to get the Great Scythe. It's not that hard to get, and it's a very good weapon.

That's quite the variety. Like I said, I will recommend the weapons I said earlier.

However, try out some weapons that fit the category of weapons i described. Go to firelink and try out the weapons on the hollow soldiers.

It's really up to you.
