Help with weapons and set

I see. To upgrade past +5 you must ascend your weapon, by choosing the option "modify weapon," instead of "reinforce weapon."

In order to do that you need an appropriate ember, which are items you find hidden throughout the game. Each blacksmith can only work with specific embers, and you must go find them and give them to the appropriate blacksmith before you can modify your weapons using them. Andre, the blacksmith you have been using deals with standard, which is normal +5 to +15, divine, occult, and raw. The Giant blacksmith, who is in Anor Londo, deals with Lightning, Crystal, and special boss weapons. Rickert, who is in New Londo, deals in magic, and enchanted. And Vamos, who is in the Catacombs, deals in Fire, and Chaos upgrades.

Most of them can be good, but it all has to do with how you want to level up your character. Do you want to continue increasing your strength and dexterity stats?

If you want to keep increasing strength and dexterity, you will do the most damage by continuing to upgrade with Andre, using the standard black colored titanite. Any other upgrades you would use, would change the way your weapon causes damage in relation to your character's stats.

The strongest kind of weapon you can use with high strength and dexterity is usually standard.

You can't use those yet. You can when you get to [b]ANOR LONDO[/b] and the [b]GIANT BLACKSMITH[/b]. They make pretty decent weapons.

To make weapons with the souls, you need [b]+10 REINFORCED WEAPONS.[/b]

But the game will tell you.

Do standard reinforcements. Those will be best.

The only things you would need those for is if you want to use them to create boss weapons. The Core of the Iron Golem can be used to create the Golem Axe or the Dragon Bone Fist weapons.

The Soul of the Moonlight Butterfly can be used to create the Crystal Ring Shield or the Moonlight Butterfly Horn Spear.

And the Soul of Quelaag can be used to create Quelaag's Fury Sword or the Chaos Blade.

With your character stats, the only one's I can really recommend are either the Golum Axe, or Quelaag's Fury Sword.

In order to create the Golum Axe, you need to upgrade any of the Axe weapons, meaning Hand Axe, Battle Axe, etc. Any of those weapons, to +10 at Andre. Then take that +10 weapon to the Giant Blacksmith at Anor Londo, and he will do it for you.

For Quelaag's Fury Sword, you take any of the Curved Sword weapons, like the Scimitar or Falchion, and upgrade that to +10 at Andre. Then take the +10 weapon to the Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo.

Make the weapon +10. This will make it way better than the drake sword.

If it is a weapon you like, and you want to keep using it. Then upgrade it beyond +5. The more you upgrade it, the more powerful it will become.

How good are you at staying alive?


i ask this because Quelaag's furysword scales with humanity.

Therefore, if you die alot, quelaag's sword won't do you too much good.

until you get better, that is.

Unless you like death, the drake sword is a [b]BAD[/b] weapon to use in Anor Londo.

Here in London is not bad to use the drake?

They are both very different weapons. It depends more on you than them.

To get to Andre, go back to the place where the GARGOYLE dropped you off. Right after you beat the Iron Golem.
