I've thought about doing that in the Kiln as well.

That if you do a joy on a dead Guardian in the Royal Woods, you can send them flying.
Enjoyed doing that to one and flinging him off a cliff!

the guys in oolacile township are parry-able! i've never tried it until i did it with my rapier riposte/BS character.


i also just found the effigy shield and I. love. it! it's a pretty good small shield with decent stability and 90% lightning reduction! i have never even heard of this thing lol.

Decent stability? not even my SL711 can survive a single drake breath with it

i meant compared to other small shields since they can't block for crap lol.

In the Depth. If you kill rat that hides in the wooden crate, then invade someone...when you back to your own world, there will be dead rat body inside restored box.

It just goes to prove that many go through Lordran with their eyes firmly shut!

Any aura hides the effect of Havel's Shield special R2 Poise buff.
A Dragon Torso player can buff his Poise with Havel's Shield and hide the effect by another effect, like Wolf Ring, Grass Crest etc and trick his opponents into thinking he has 0 Poise.

The problem is that it's hardly a round shield. If i'm not mistaken it has the parry speed of a medium shield.
So instead of a good round shield it's more of a crappy medium shield. Unless you need the lightning resistance.

That's awesome. I've never given him the chance. Always been too worried he'd mess it up, and I'd be screwed out of the slab.

That underestimation still kills learned players.

Friend of mine on NG+ went for Four Kings early, became a Darkwraith, and then with his Giant Armour BKGA build tried to test the Dark Hand on the Crestfallen Warrior.

Crestfallen parried him constantly, dodged and ripped him apart. Have to admit, wasn't expecting that. He doesn't half give you some s*** for dying to him too.

Same is true if you get summoned for coop. I often farm rats while waiting to get summoned, and it is hilarious when you return and a bunch of dead rats fly out of boxes at you. It's actually worse than the real trap.

I did some damage test with kicking. The only thing that buffs it is Power Within. I haven't tried the Trident yet.

I added it to my sig again. It got buried.

This is embarrassing, but I recently discovered on the catacombs floor that it's comically easy to lure the bonewheel skeletons away from yourself by shooting arrows past them. Usually, I clear the whole level and fight them head on, but I came down the shortcut and decided to try to shoot them with a bow while standing atop the cleric set. With my terrible aim I kept missing, and got all angry because the bonewheels were following the sound of my missed arrows farther and farther away. "Gah, why are you guys walking all the way down to the far end near the knight, I can barely even hit you with my arr...wait a second..."

That's brilliant! Maybe now I'll have a chance at completing his questline.

Well I've discovered a reason to not turn off your camera's auto wall recovery. If you try to fight one of the undead dragons with melee, when you get in close to attack your camera gets stuck inside of them and it makes it almost impossible to get away without being hit.

I just found out that you can WotG the giant skeletons in the Tomb where the large divine ember is at from on top the ledge :shock: Yay for no more suicidal runs!
