If people see you wearing it do they sometimes put it on themselves as well, to fight fair? Maybe that is why the aura sometimes suddenly appears.

I never had anyone put it on themselves. So maybe if both parties had it on it would make a difference.

As a matter of fact I remember people still coming at me buffed to the teeth. I thought maybe people who would normally buff would stop, considering i'm giving them the biggest buff in the game. They didn't.....The calamity ring... - Page 3 3358384175

I'm not giving up random fights with the ring on. It's a fun challenge.

Yeah, people are still casting Power Within and using all types of weapon buffs on me. It's quite hilarious to get hit only once with the ring on when fighting against that.

Ask them if they can see the rings Sauron effect above your head. That might allow us to know if people are switching to the ring or if I'd been infecting them.

    It's mainly when it's a leo counter hit. I was nearly one-shotted by a halberd's R1.

Power Within and buffs are scarier, but I'm halfway used to them now.

    Stunlocks are also unforgiving.

The scariest of all is probably boosted magic and pyromancy, though. I understand I can't block too much damage with only a weapon, but I was still surprised when I died in one hit from black flame while blocking with the Broadsword. One bead from Dark Bead has also taken out nearly 1k of my health.

It's awesome nevertheless. I am landing more parries for some reason.

I noticed that too. I was also attempting them less. Probably because risk/reward goes out the window. You know that when you throw a parry, you have to be almost 100% sure you're going to land it.

Thats nothin to cry about...at least you can't get dagger stunlocked to death. I can either do Calamity/Wolf or Calamity/DWGR and I can't decide which. sad

Two-hand halberds or katana are crazy. Daggers have such short range anyway silly

I think I'd go with DWGR for dodging, depends on if you will rely on taking minimal hits or no hits at all.

I'm thinking DWGR too. I get clipped a lot by longer range weps if I fast-roll.

I might call off the "testing" for the night soon. It's becoming more of a training tool than an item I want to test... I took it off for my last fight and ran into a player that I could never beat before.. I beat him with ease and even parried him.

I wouldn't be disappointed if this ring holds no real value. It's currently proving to me that it already has a great use.

Rynn, you may want to message me within the hour if you still want me to invade you.
