Discoveries you only made recently.

I've realize something and now it broke Gwynevere image to me. We all know that she an illusion, that's a fact. She was made by Gwyndolin who is a man going girly. So Gwynevere is a part of Gwyndolin, making her part man. So basically, what I'm saying his that we kept staring at manboobs ....I hate logic now.

Tchuwib, what's that habit of yours of trying to make me disgusted by any female character in the game?

i discovered that after you go through the fog door to fight the capra demon boss, only one dog will agro if you stay against the fog. usually i run around capra and go towards the back of the arena to kill both dogs as fast as possible, but this time i got cornered just after crossing the fog door and only one dog came after me. capra crushed me after i mistimed a dodge, but that's not the point.

on a side note, i was able to pick up my blood stain without having to cross the fog door a second time. it was close enough to the fog to be practically in it and a tiny bit of my blood stain was on the outside of the fog door. how lucky for me.

I played a little bit the other day for the first time in a long time, and I discovered the Cadusceus Round Shield in the graveyard. I always thought that was a rare drop from skellies, boy was I excited. It sucks as a shield, but it is one of my favorite designs. I like the realistic shields with some design painted on them.

No, it's an illusion. What you should be appalled about is the fact that ol' Gwyndie gave his big sis big knockers.

Gwyndie has tentacles under his skirt. I really don't need to say any more.



Also, discovery of the day: you can lure the second Anor Londo Gargoyle from the rotating platform all the way to the Painting Room, though it gets stuck in the door. Easy times.

relating to that ive actually made the first gargoyle in anor londo and one of the bell tower ones fall off the edge and die lol. On a side note i found my first vagrant a few months ago in new londo between the church like place and the water lever (the water was still up), i killed it and it fell in the water and i was like NOOOOOOO!!!!! then i drained the water, it ended up by the last darkwraith before the kings >.< lol

Apparently the Four Kings' grab attack can grab more than one person.

Also, Solaire didn't get me a Trident.

Here's something simple: I only recently realised that your character screams when they die from a fall.

Normally it's masked by the 'DUNNN' from the 'You Died' message, but you can still hear it half the time.

However, it's also coming directly from the character, so it'll get quieter as the camera pans away to show you falling to a miserable death.

I fell in the water and drowned right next to Rickert recently, and as it's a killzone that's technically rather short, you can hear the scream much more clearly.


It's really quite horrible.

I have always been to lazy to go through NG all over again, so I never thought that it is much of a challenge... So, when doing my regular base VIT glasscannon build and farming O&S I encountered a NG+++++ player. Geeeeezzz... That was the ultimate discovery of all times! I went back to some of my favorite characters to proceed with NG. Praise the Sun!

Unfortunately I tested this multiple times (with base item discovery so as not to affect results) and it's just a rumour. Solaire does not give you a 100% drop on anything.

Works the other direction with the painting guardians too. I sprinted through there once to grab the black iron set and had one chase me all the way from the floor level, up the rotating stairs, and back to the initial doorway where he backstabbed me while I was in a menu. Apparently they don't just guard the painting down there.

yea but 9/10 times when he grabs more than one person it does no damage

Just discovered a hidden wall in New Londo, with a Darkwraith and a titanite Chunk behind it. These little things surprise me so much after playing for such a long time and I'm finally thinking I know everything there is to know about the game.

Also discovered that this hidden wall is the only hidden wall in the game that reappears without proceeding to NG+

If Sif's dead, but the Moonlight Butterfly is alive you can see summon signs in Sif's area from the butterfly side of the Artorias door looking in.

You can backstab mushrooms.

Happened to me yesterday. Note that I play on 1.0.0.

I was in catacombs with 5 soft humanity. Went to the lever to find patches there. Since I was a cleric, I attacked him without a conversation. Got killed - no shield sucks. Revived with 1 humanity. Picked up my bloodstain and nad a total of 6h. Got killed again and yet again revived with 1 soft humanity. Picked up my body and got a total of 7 soft humanity.
i killed him after that so not sure if this was infinite source of humanity.

The Butcher Knife recharges five health per hit.

The Crystal Greatsword is no joke at low levels.

Everyone knows how deflection is broken in PvP.
However, deflection is applied when you used Strong Magic Shield.

Anor Londo, running down the last path towards the last 2 gargoyles (just before the run/ assault on the Archers. At the bottom of the path, just b4 the 2 gargoyles, If you hit the fence on either side, you take damage. Seems to be the last few feet.
