Rare Weapons are neat, but I don't think they really suit DkS.

If you do the "look skyward" gesture while in full dragonform, it looks like you're calling someone a choker.

Also, if you move even slightly after a swing, you reset your weapon moveset. It's actually kinda useful with big slow weapons particularly when follow-up combo swings are slower than an opening swing. Take a first swing, half step, take the same "first" swing again instead of comboing. It also seems to mess up parry timing.

I use the "off step" technique a lot with the long sword/similar swords so that I can use the long thrust R2 attack repeatedly. The follow up R2 has a really short range and often times the initial attack knocks the target outside of its range.

It is a good technique to use for weapons that have a thrust or sweeping attack followed by the opposite.

You can get Witch Beatrices armor. Never knew that.

How do you get her armor??

I just cut through the Valley of Drakes and saw it there on the ground. I think it must have appeared after I summoned her for both the Moonlight Butterfly fight and the Abyss fight. Maybe there are other factors, it probably says on the wiki.

I've never gone to the valley of the drakes after fighting the four kings. I'll do that this play through! Thanks!

Yeah if you summon Beatrice both times and she survives both fights(good luck with Four Kings) then her items appear outside the Valley of the Drakes.

Warriors have some kind of item drop bonus, because I've gotten the Demon Greataxe from the Taurus Demon, the Black Knight Sword from the one in the Burg, and the Black Knight Shield from the Ult. Greatsword wielding one in the Parish.
