It's easy to get Twinkling titanite too, Demon titanite is harder to come across and could be put into something more worthwile.
Clamshells aren't as bad as titanite Demons.

Maybe, but I'm on a sorcerer using the crest shield since it's the only 100% physical block he can use. On the upside, HSM is freakin beast.

I almost always make Strength builds so Havel's Greatshield is an option for me sometimes.

im not saying upgrade artorias instead of havels im saying upgrading either is pointless just artys has more stability and is easier to get stats for but if you like havels better and have the str by all means use it just beware of accidental L2s lol ive done that from time to time ( i mean 300 durability to use it REALLY >.<)

Upgrading increases Stability, more Stability, the more hits I can take. And when you cosplay Havels you have to drain someone's stamina.

According to the Wiki, neither GSoA or Havels get any stability from being upgraded.

A theory so far, had lots of humanity on me so I didn't want to risk testing it:
It seems that you get a damage reduction on archery attacks when your body is partially covered.
My +10 Pharis Bow did around 120 damage/hit to both the first prowling demon in the Sen fortress and to the one guarding the scythe.
(used lock on, so no head shots)
Then I went to kill the 3rd one. I moved slowly so that I've seen only part of his body behind the corner of the wall, yet I was able to lock on and not hit the wall with my arrows. When I shoot I did only 57 damage.
Since I wear no armour and have 10 Vit, I haven't tried moving to the open to see if I would do full damage.

The regular giants in Anor Londo drop items, i played the PC a lot and never once got a drop off the regular guys, got 2 giant shields so far on the box. thinking but not sure yet drop rates might be different across platforms or xbox is just luckier.

i rather think the titanite demos have different resistance stats. I found out trying to kill the four in sens with lightning spears.

Definately, the 2nd 2 in sens are much much tougher than the first 2 and don't get me started on the izalith dude.

There is a fire dog running on the inside of the upper water wheel in Blighttown. When you are riding down look for him to the left if you are facing the swamp.
Also, if you are wearing the ninja flip ring, get a dead hollow stuck on your feet and then flip, you can send them flying pretty far.

If you look around that area there's a dog walking midair as well.

I'm SL1 and don't have the stats to use a bow. I'm NG+ and did not look forward to trying to get past the two archers in Anor Londo.
I stocked up on poison arrows. You CAN infect the archers, but it takes 25-27 arrows when you fire continuously. If you delay (or so it seems to me) in your firing, the number of arrows needed increases.
If you wear the fog and slumbering rings, you can use the binoculars to aim your crossbow. While this tip is known, did you know that if you stand outside the lock-on range, the two guardians at the top of the stairs do not react when they get hit. The silver knights DO react so you can use it to arggo a knight.
