we've got this girl, whom is disabled, and just makin video's and contributions to our community, without soaking up her 'gamer girl' status at all, being accused of this crap by these assholes.

In one scenario, she's lying, and she's a guy. She's played the pity card and they've called her on it. She's a bad person, and they are heartless people.

In the scenario i believe, she's telling the truth, and she's got these disabilities. she tried to make peace with these people, and they continue to rip her to shreds, **** on her work, **** on her life, and harass her. she goes through so much, just to have them pile on more.

so in either scenario, they are being heartless, and if she's lying they accomplish nearly nothing, but if she isn't lying: they are destroying this sweet girl i call my friend, just because they are a.s.s.uming things.

i am truly, truly, for the first time in my life, utterly -sickened- by humanity, and i needed a drink.

Yeah i can see why you feel that way. I don't know her or what is true about that, but these guys are just pitifull assholes. As i said, nothing should get to you on the internet. That is just the way it is.
And never trust any stranger, especially not in a games community.

I'm actually not really a fan of Rosie, her and I just don't click on a friendly level.

Still, I hope she isn't scared away and I hope she can find a way to enjoy herself again. While I may disagree with some aspects of her playstyle I've never wanted her to stop making videos or quit this forum or anything. She doesn't make videos about hating certain types of people, and on this forum she's blunt but I don't see her insulting members and what not. So while I don't care about Rosie as Rosie, I do care about her as a person. No person should have to deal with that sort of rubbish.

It's always a bit odd to state my views on this sort of stuff. I hate seeing people hurt by the words of others, yet one of my favorite comedians is Frankie Boyle, the man known for saying some of the worst things possible about others for the sake of comedy.

This reminds me of the story where a young kid pretended to be a Neo-Nazi online and harassed a Jewish family for a year just because he thought it was a good prank.

I don't have an issue with the fact that Underscore_Flash strongly disliked Rosie however I just wonder if he couldn't have taken a more civil route about it rather than creating a lynch mob to remove her from the community. Perhaps conversing with her in a PM and stating his issues with her could have been more productive - it may have caused her to adapt rather than retaliate furiously towards the community. I would say that this may have daunted any prospective uploaders from joining the community.

I personally couldn't care less about Rosie - however I lack empathy towards people. Most of the time they could have used the precautionary principle and avoided the situation altogether.

P.S The manner in which he went about his 'purging' or 'chemotherapy' as he worded it was distasteful.

Amos, I think that Flash said that Rosie blocked him so PMs weren't an option.

I don't know why Rosie didn't just report them though.

How hard is it to create a youtube account may I ask you? It takes a maximum of 5 minutes, if he wished to solve it civilly he could have just made an account to contact her?

Freedom of expression would be my guess, Tolvo. And to be honest, the flaming wasn't always that bad it was persistent but it never reached the levels of rancor that that video shows.

Freedom of expression doesn't extend into when it becomes cyber bullying, from what I've seen it looks like Dash was doing something which is illegal.

It's a prime example of don't feed the trolls. Trolls are ****s and reacting to them feeds them and makes them go on. Said it on the other post the first thing you need to learn is don't react, its your profile not you.

To be honest it didn't surprise me, i've seen this in school, in work, out socialising. It's still infuriating to see.

Yes it is. One loses their right to fair treatment when they do not give the same to others. I can say without hesitation these are the kinds of people i'd wipe off the face of the earth if it was within my power.
