Hello everyone I am fairly new to the forums been lurking for a while but haven't posted much. I have beat the game and was interesting in pvp so have been lurking these forums for help for builds and such, currently working on a dex/faith build and hoping to do some jolly Co-operation as I go along.

Welcome! By the way if you are interested in PvP you might want to check out some of the user covenants, most of them focus on PvP and a few on Co-Op. As well there is Fight Club which is an organized dueling group. But either way, welcome.

I'm Joonas 24-year old dude from Finland (xbox: Juutas1988) and I finally decided to join to this forum.
If I do something wrong in here it's probably because I'm actually a forum virgin so please be easy on me, ok?

Needless to say I love Dark Souls and after 600+ hours of gameplay it has become my favourite game of all time (beating my previous favourite game Arcanum).

I also love PvP and this past month I have found a new calling: NAKEDNESS! naked PvP + some special set of rules I've set for myself has made PvP more fun and (needless to say) challenging I also spend one day a week playing with armor (usually saturdays).
When it comes to PvP I value good fights more than winning.
My favourite spot for PvP is hands down Undead Burg, so if you ever see a pale naked guy there, be sure to say hello!

(I try to come up with a better avatar soon, but for now my retarted face should do...)

TO bad you’re on Xbox though . If you like fighting naked then why not fight as a dragon? You’ll look a lot cooler.

He gets better, though I just love abusing his I-frames god knows every Noel main hates me for that.

Hey everyone, my name is Jolmzy, and I like to make Dark Souls PvP videos on youtube! I am 100% new to this website(or any forums really), as I learned about it actually from YouTube. I love to PvP & make GFX for fun
If I combined all my characters hours together, I would have about 500+ total. I also came from Demons Souls, although I play on the Xbox.

Good afternoon everyone. I am the 24 year old Cantankerous_Flood and I hail from the US east coast. I recently graduated college with a degree in Music Performance concentrating in violin. When I'm not practicing or performing, I'm usually gaming. As my signature indicates below, my PSN is Floydd1087, and to all that recognize the name and have received rage mail after beating me in a duel, I am deeply sorry for my temper (unless you deserved it ). Someone used the term "forum virgin" above and I think that would the category I fall under (aside from comments and rants on IGN.com articles haha) so be nice. I will be sure to review the guidelines in the near future.

I never really got into dungeon crawlers/action RPGs until I saw videos for Dark Souls. The Fallout series and Final Fantasy VII, VIII and X were about as hardcore I got into any sort of RPG. After hearing all the praise for Demon's Souls (which I still have yet to touch), I decided to pick up DaS the day after release. I instantly fell in love with it and I haven't been able to put it down ever since. The satisfaction felt from conquering any part of this game is unlike any other and it's nice to be be in a community that shares my appreciation. After 150 hours of experimenting with my first build, Cletus the Red (the stats are embarrassingly sloppy haha :drunken:) and beating the game a couple times, I decided to look to the WIKIs and forums to help with my next two builds. One of which, the ancient Lord Xystus VI, is 70 hours deep and SL 92(ish).

I have recently gotten into PVP and attempting to make dominant PVP builds. However, the other day, the motor that spins the discs in my PS3 broke, and it doesn't look like I will be signing on for the next few weeks if that. Before then, I was getting torn apart in duels, and I look forward to learning from all of you and possibly parttaking in jolly co-operation and duels as well when my toons are resurrected from the bowels of Ash Lake.

My name is Gertjan and I'm from the Netherlands. I'm 17 years old and a currently a student. In my spare time I make music with my band or game with my friends or alone. I've never actually played dark souls or demon souls, because I don't own a console. I have a PC and I have signed the petition to bring dark souls to PC. I already know a lot of dark souls and can't wait to finnaly be able to play it. I also hope that dark souls will do well on PC and that the future souls titles will be on PC along with the consoles.

Like you all, I love Dark Souls (and Demon's Souls before it). These games are amazing! At first, I hated them and cursed their difficulty, but now I can't seem to play normal cookie cutter RPGs.

I love to make gaming related videos as well. I'm trying my hand at a "Let's Play" Demon's Souls series with a shield only. <-- note cheap advertisement here!

When I'm not playing games I'm usually hanging out with friends or performing other hobbies, such as web design. I love web design.

I was the administrator and creator of www.FeminineDivinity.net (a girl gaming guild) before I took it down to move on to my next project.
I was the administrator and creator of www.killaXgirlz.com (a girl gaming community) but that one is now down because I am expanding it into something bigger and better. That bigger and better project is www.PSCOMNET.com, a website I am currently developing which will focus on community wide events for the upcoming game, PlanetSide 2. I hope to have a mock-up of the site online in a few weeks.

Aside from being an administrator and moderator on those, I am also a volunteer moderator for Sony Online Enetertainment (www.SOE.com) forums and a volunteer moderator for this Dark Souls wiki Chatango client.

As for me personally, I work full time at The Gap Corporation doing marketing research for the Banana Republic division (and sometimes Old Navy). I'm basically the chick finding out what sells, what doesn't sell, and creating spreed sheets and "trend analysis" for the big guys.

I am a musician and artist from Melbourne, Australia. I have a degree in music performance and am currently undertaking an honours program in sound sculpture. When I am not playing guitar or making sh*t I like to play PS3, my favorite games of this generation of consoles are by far the souls series. I played them both with the name tofucactaur, I play online a decent amount, although I have had a few months off recently. Apart from the souls series I really love team ICO's games, That Game Company games, I really love games by a indie designer called Messhoff (anyone looking for hard games check him out(FLY WRENCH!!)), I loved ffV-FFIX, Kojima's games (excited about Zone of Enders HD releases). I like the online show Extra Credits, anybody interested in thoughtful commentary on videogame culture that hasn't seen it should check it out. Anyway, I wander around these forums a bit, they seem to be the most current/used forums with regards to the souls series, decided to join and say hi.
