Best Kill of the Week? I got a Cyclops when I, after it went nuts and swung its club everywhere, lured it next to a rock, jumped on its arm, and did the horizontal fighter slash across its eye!

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
sigh, i don't get cool kills anymore because my mage hireling keeps meteoring the crap out of any thing bigger than a wolf.... plus in tight quarters i can just use ricochet hunter and take out an army in 3 shots.... gaah im maxed as a magik archer and my main pawns a maxed warrior now 2 ranks from maxed fighter... guess its time to continue the story line past just getting to gran soren.... wish there were more vocations/ ranks and skills for each vocation....

What are Idols?
And does anyone have an opinion on which of the two melee classes, aka pure melee, Fighter and Warrior is the better?

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Well as I was journeying down into the Everfall for the second time (first time visiting it in my current play through) I went straight down not fliping any of the leavers thus all the doors were open leading to rooms just off the main stair case.
The first room was a hall of undead, the second some kind or burial chambers, and the third a room with lots of narrow walk ways and a few undead mages and harpies. I killed the ones on the rafters and gathered a Very Large Sack of Gold worth about 10,000 and made my way down the stairs. While going through I noticed a large concentration of chest, normally meaning some thing nearby makes it dangerous enough that treasure is abound.
Anywho I pressed on down another set of stairs, a passage on the right took me directly to the room at the bottom of the Everfall where the blue light is which on my other play through I had never seen the entrance to. However I followed the path ahead to an area called the Ceremonial Cage (or something like that) which had about six coffins in it. After opening a correct one a cut scene occured and skeleton popped out, which dropped and engraved handle. I opened the gate expecting to find a boss or something, which is why I posted the aforementioned comment, but instead founf treasure.
A Scale Vest for the warrior which made playing as one oh so much sweeter, and another item I can't recall.
Did you find this in your play through. The first time I flipped the switches and went straight down the stair case killing all the enemies I found.
Also the Ogre is normally rigged to go off the edge of the staircase when damaged enough, about 1 thrid of its total health left. I killed it before it could run off. at Lvl 15

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Nice, although I can not remember if I found this area you speak of in the falls.
I may take a trek back over there and have a good look around again.
At the moment I am taking everything slowly,I am a bit of a perfectionist so I like to get every lose end tied up before I move onto the next area or quest.
But this sound like its worth a second look.

Well I hope I found something worth while. There are two large golden treasure chests behind and iron gate at the bottom of the Everfall.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
I`ll go take a look now, will report back if I find anything like you mention.
Although I know the chest do change there content every time you re visit a area, well 90% of the time.
So I may find them but not get the goodies you found?.
Update :
Been down and had a look in the Everfalls.
I saw the Skeleton, when you kill him you can search is sarcophagus for the lever to open the gate to the chest.
I had done this on my first visit although just forgot.
The second time round I was given a Travelers cloak and some Armour in the other.
So I guess its nothing that you should not have found although good job in finding it as it can be quite easily over looked.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Aye well it was awesome for me. Felt like the original diablo in its dugeon crawling goldness.
Also I find that the fighter class is the ultimate melee class topping the Warrior in all aspects except raw damage.
