Also are the class builds set in stone or are those examples? I really wouldn't mind an excuse to steal one of Wyrm's sl80 builds for the war which would fit the description of one of the classes perfectly

Well I'm all for player creativity for example if you wanted to use the Death's Purification class you wouldn't have to make an investment in faith or pyro. You could wear medium armor and choose those weapons and make it a class like that.

They are just guidelines you can feel free to do whatever you want within those guidelines.

For a tank class mid roll, I would say yes. 1700 HP would be a good minimum.
