I have no Idea what it is your saying.

There is only one mountain. Duke's Archives has to be on it, since it doesn't appear anywhere on that picture otherwise. That means the Archives should be at the very edge of Lordan. Except... in game the mountain looks more like a hill.

Whoever designed the intro screwed up.


Edi: The scale of that pic also puts Oolacile within Lordans boundries, Oolacile is supposed to be it's own kingdom.

Simply put, the whole thing was poorly planned out.

Perhaps the city in the intro isn't Anor Londo >.>

It's supposed to be all of Lordran.

Thats what were trying to say to Despair.
It got side tracked with the tangent of the wall surrounding it or not.
But IMO the city in the trailer is no way AL.

On the other hand
In the DkS trailer what they showed as AL, looks completely different from what we see in game.

As for the actual topic here:
The distant land in the DkS2 trailer could only be AL if From is just being lazy,
like I just showed with the difference in the opening scene version of AL to the in games version.
From clearly made in intro first, then changed the way it looked in game, thinking no one would even notice, because by the time you get to AL, you've probably forgot about that short shot of the city in the opening scene.

Anyways, The topic is about possible locations for DkS2.
What do you guys think based on what we know of the different locations in the DkS lore, would most likly have an ocean as part of it?

Thoruland, is my guess. The guy from the facebook pictures looks kind of "vikingish"???, I'm assuming he's a cleric.

You mean that mountain that only looks so large in the beginning cutscene but in actual gameplay is just a little hill? Go to Anor Londo, you will see it's not a very big mountain and that the wall does go around it.

ON TOPIC: FUTURE LORDRAN?

Future Lordran based on the Dark Lord ending: every NPC has gone hollow, every bonfire has burnt out. The entire game is one bigass Tomb of the Giants with no firekeepers, no bonfires, no blacksmiths, no vendors, no trainers, no covenants, and no sun to praise. Prepare to wish you were dead.

Future Lordran based on the Link the Fire ending: same as current Lordran, with Gwyn replaced by the previous player character. Final boss of the game is a PvP battle with a Kiln invader. Take a cue from that known as Diablo III: you don't get to beat the game unless you have internet (and people are invading). Prepare to wish you were dead.

Way to be mature. How could my parents have any control over what I get or don't when I don't live with them and am not underage? Unlike you propably, I don't live in Murrikah' the land of credit cards numbnuts. You can't get a credit card in my country if you don't have a full time job, and I'm a student.
Oh and I ordered a second copy of Dark Souls for PC so I can play the DLC, so yes I will have it soon.

You really got some issues dude, if you would look at all this objectively you would notice it's you who's attacking me all the time, not the other way around. I'm merely responding to your messages.

Really, why would you reply to me mentioning that I am getting the dlc by saying no one cares? That was my reply to someone who was talking directly to me about the DLC. What is it now, I can't reply to messages directed at me anymore without you getting all mad?
