Forest of the Damned - Covenant Event (3/24/12)

Kick only fight club, I'm tempted to steal that idea haha, maybe coupled with my fat roll only idea.

Hey i just fought the biggest coward ever. I separated him from his phantom and killed him, found him trying to find a new summon, and then chased him to the cliff where the treents escaped. apparently if you hug the wall and fall off the cliff you'll land in the basin cliff near the cave bonfire. Which is exactly what he did. i knew I wouldnt survive that drop, but I showed a newly summoned hunter where he was and watched as he wailed on the lil coward

Keep up the good work Cloud. That's a little known trick which we've been trying to keep unknown for a time, but it is becoming a bit more common for people to know about that drop.

You can thank Alberet, king of kicking, for that idea. It was finally a fight club that he could not lose. Then there is the catalyst bunt only one(Normal catalyst, mind you. There are some, such as the demon one, that do more than some weapons. ;D). We also have the duel wield cestus(Must be no upgrades) one too so that we can say, 'I watched fight club, while playing in one'. We were going to do dark hand grab only, but it does no damage. ;(

Nice team work! I only wish there were more times when I had a friendly. I had one time were a FH was getting some real damage on him, and the host was just spamming out fire whip. I showed him the power of dodge role, BS punish. He sent me a 'thank you' after. Made me feel good in side. ;D

My internet is really starting to fail me, I think I'm going to have to bow out for the time being, I can't get my invaders to come in, and when they do I lag up a storm.

Speaking of lag, did you meet the mask of the mother guy with the mura? That guy used his lag offensively. ;D

He killed me two times, both of which he was standing in front of me, then back stabing me. He was like Ornstein(The NPC) in the fact that he was so fast, he decided to disregard the space between him and my back and just teleported there.

Giants armor, Lightning Murakumo? If so yeah I actually fought that same guy, I managed to kill him by cancelling his backstab once but after that the teleporting just constantly got me when I would invade him.

Luckily for me, I only had to fight him the two times. Though, I did have one time were I saw him get summoned as a white phantom just as I killed the host. That would have been ans iffy fight.

I invaded the guy five times sadly, one time I actually went looking around for him and couldn't find him, then I found him on the bridge. Got ready to attack, and teleported half of the way into the forest getting BS'ed then GC'ed to death.

My over all favorite kill of the night:

There was a host that obviosly did not know what to do when she got invaded. I killed her phantom, then just sat there, watching her. After a minute or so, she summons a phantom. Its the same guy! I back-stab him, then wait some more. She summons him again, but this time I could not back-stab him, so I parried him. She was just sitting there, watching the fight. After a minute went by, I started walking, and she followed me! I led here to the parent shrooms. I feel like a jerk, but it was amazingly funny watching her go right up to one, and have it turn and insta-kill punch her.

I am on a roll!!!! 4 parry and riposte. my friend got me the chaos bandit knife that I needed so far is going good!!

2 more. my Black Phantom Forest Hunter Thief is wrecking fools!

I just lured two winding through the woods. For some reason they kept chasing me assuming I would die before the trees caught up. Completed my circle and got one slice in before the leafy army of justice finished the host. Phantom tried to stab me and I just stared at him

I just had a guy try to plunging attack me off the stairs, and I ended up parrying/riposting it. o_0

I just want to thank Brokewilly for putting this awesome event together and to all that participated. I had a lot of fun.

I second that. The last hour has been legend.....wait for it.....ary. My last two weeks of training has paid off too

Agreed. Even though I only had about a day to boost up to level, it was still really fun.

At about half past closing time I am calling it a night.
I didn't always win but I gave them a fight.

Some were arrowed, some were harvested, some were stuck with pretty little purple blades.
I circled the trees, jumped over logs and ran like a fool through the glades.
I got revenge, prevenge
and yes...even some postvenge.

I thanked a duelist and never heard back.
I tried to lure so the cats could snack.
Dragonslayer bow made one guy flat.
But then TwoP and I was splat.

I had a footrace, where I played the fuzz.
I think Alvina is smiling (but she always does).

My gods, the fact that line three and four do not rhyme ruined this poem for me! Well, in the actual window it does not. Now that I look at it as I am quoting it, it does rhyme correctly. Another poem, mangled by odd line length limitations! ;(

I also would like to thank Broke for the event it was a lot of fun!! I was banged alot but also had a lot of support with all reds being friendly. I died alot but I did manage to shut down alot of gangbangs and murder my fair share of hosts!!

Kill of the event for me was coming into a world that my best friend was getting banged by 2 farmers and I ran in and CSS'd both of the host and phantom for a OHKO and in the process became a +3 level hunter!!!

Saving the day is rewarding it seems. Odd. I did not encounter a single red the whole time I was on. Only blue. Very odd indeed...

To everyone who fought against the gankers. Today was an amazing push against them. I'm most grateful to broke and tolvo. Broke for setting up this event, and Tolvo for encouraging me.
