    You son of a.....

Time to get my electronic kazoo out and hook it up to a distortion pedal. Then you'll all be sorry! Or my Theremin that I made from an eBay kit. The crowning touch is that I put it inside a can of Coca-Cola so that it looks like a weird can with sensors all over that makes crazy noises when you move your hands around it. I'll settle for King of instruments nobody wants to listen to.

EDIT: I would comment on your song but I think I already gave you enough praise you one upping so and so

Lol....thanks for adding the Exhibit Amos

The phase effect sounds pretty sweet on the harmonica. It sounds like you know how to bend the note quite well also. The effects pedal seems to exaggerate it some which sounds cool as hell. I used to play some and that was hard as heck. It seems so simple but there's a lot of intricacies to the instrument. Man is it FUN though!

So that's all well and good, however someone might enjoy that. Behold the horrors of.....
    the kazooka

    Had enough? How about this

EDIT: I have some interesting homemade theremin audio but it was recorded with a cell phone. I might try to see if I can find some way to upload it tonight.

Hahaha i lol'd hard at the kazooka man! You should try it with the ethnic scales with heavier drumming backing tracks.

If I had that in college I would have done some crazy stuff (just look at the synth program garbage I posted). I barely have time these days to even look at my guitars let alone get experimental. Those tracks for the kazoo came right off the manufacturer's website. I love that those are the clips they thought would sell it. They're interesting but they're nothing most musicians can't live without.

EDIT: I do actually have one of these though. I told my brother about it and he had to get us some. I wish I would have recorded because they're actually really wild with a good effects pedal backing them. Kind of like the ultimate Peter Frampton breath effect.

Haha thanks, it was a spur of the moment decision. I just thougth you know what would be cool, if he was from Zena. And then I just had to write up how a Zenan joined the Brotherhood.

Haha I'm just quietly ignoring Domnhall aprt from the influence of crystal. His name doesnt fit the naming convention I made up and I havent really based anyone on his personality traits, which would likely be common in Zena.

Now, I can't remember the last time someone actually told me a joke.
These days, people just forward the links, memes and vids they like.
    Between email chains and Facebook
postings, there's no longer any reason to remember little one-liners or
story vignettes. One click and boom, you've told a joke. Sort of.

Interesting Amos. I must say, I do not remember you and your friend being known for instruments and songs. I could probably never do what you do, though... my mind can't concentrate in thinking about a line or skit for long.

Congrats, they are good. A little 'blue' for my taste. lol, perhaps a skew of some whites, reds, yellows, and some regulars would be better off. Perhaps a fair share of 'Misery' might suffice beside the aspect of 'Honour'. Perhaps a fair share of Chaos and perhaps even one of Power.

I am interested to see how this plays, however I may forget to check them. I might like notification of these things arising...

My "talent" is pretty questionable as well. You're free to add other art besides music though. The whole idea is for forum members to give themselves a little credit for their talent. Even things like your trident dance .gif would be sweet additions

The following were originally posted on another thread in the Dark Souls topic section & someone suggested that I posted them on here. I don't claim that they have any literary merit apart from the fact that they're relatively short & sweet.

'When Ornstein & Smough a-hunting do go

You'd better watch out for your souls.

Orn's as fleet as a deer, lighning sparks from his spear

While Smough fills your armour with holes.'

    ____

    'The Lady Priscilla is winsome,

    The Lady Priscilla is sweet,

    The Lady Priscilla's a killer

With a tail and invisible feet.'

    ___

'There is a place beneath the earth that burns with liquid fire

The Demon Guardian of the way, his aspect it is dire,

He'll blast you with his Demon Axe to put you in your place

And then, to make sure you are dead,

    He'll sit upon your face!

Oh Firesage! Oh Firesage! Please let me swiftly go!

I promise I wont hinder you or step upon your toe!'

    ____

    'For healing your festers

    An Estus is bestus'

    ____

'It was a dark and lonely road whereon I met a knight

Whose armour had a reddish cast in the waning light.

'Come travel with me friend' said I, for company I lack'

I offered him a friendly hand

But he stabbed me in the back!

The moral of this story is

    Beware when you are travelling

And meet another on the path

    It could be your unravelling.'

    ___

'There is a dragon on a bridge, his aspect it is dire,

Don't try and poke him with your sword

He'll set your pants on fire!'

    ____

'Good evening' said the man in tights when we met on the forest path

'Good evening' said I but the glint in his eye made me think that I'd better turn back.

So I spun on my heel but still I could feel

The hairs on my head were a-prickle

So I started to run but I knew I was done

When his implement made my blood trickle.'

    ____

'Lament for Sif. - Version 1.

'Oh lordly Sif, if but I knew that I would be the end of you.

I didn't want to cause you pain, I hate myself, I've nought to gain

But sad regret & sorrow deep

I pray the Lord your soul to keep'

    ____

'Lament for Sif. - Version 2.

'Oh lordly Sif, if I but knew that I would be the end of you.

I did not want to cause you pain, so I your soul could take

But sorrow deep still haunts my dreams

    And lingers when I wake.............'

Amos, really like the blending of styles in this one. It's hard to place this in any genre but it works quite well. On a related note, you do know that breathing on occasion is a good idea right? I had an asthma attack out of sympathy for your lungs in that last minute.
