Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Gods above Warriors either cant kill enemies (which I know they can), I have no decent Gear, or the enemies get super strong when they should be dying.... All of the above.
This game is way harder that Dark Souls.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Warriors should be able to kill stuff. If your attacking bigger things though you NEED to hit the weak spots. Cyclops and ogres go for the eyes, grffins go for the head + fire. If its just normal enemies some are just absurdly strong. Whats your damage rating? Im level 32 with about 410.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
lol haha sorry bro did not mean to cut your grass.
As to the Bluemoon Tower I could get inside although I could not get by this door.
It must be a quest or main story action to give me access to the whole area.
What did you think to the stone golem fight?.
One tough Mother is he not.Love the glowing effect.
In the night it looked great.
Also I found getting there was very hard,if I did not have some good strong pawns with me I would not have made it.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
For 90% of his hp he was on the rground as I shot arrow after arrow into him. Then when he went red I spent 10min dodging (I was limited to 500 hp, was low on greens) before I got enough arrows to turn him purple and then I clung to his hand while he swung around attacking. The bandits on the way there are killer, I had to spend the night in one of the cliffside homes because as soon as I went outside half my hp got taken off by snipers who I couldnt see.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Dudes where are you getting your gear. Im considering going Magic Knight simply because swinging my blade around willy nilly to no effect is not entertaining anymore. I also wanted to do magic archer as that seemed pretty cool.
Also did you guys know you can set L1 skills on a warrior. only R1

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
That would explain why no pawns had L1 skills. That sucks. Maybe switching is the right thing.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Well im way to far in to get the benefits of being a magic knight..... Aka the leveling stat distribution is way off for me in favour of damage and health....

You could try assassin or strider, they're the DPS vocations.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Hmmm I'll tough it out. I just want armour and weapons on par with the warrior vocation pic.... I assume I need to do more quests to get better gear.

Lol I like the game very much but its not very loot centric which disappoints me as I like shiny new toys to play with.

Not necessarily, just do more wondering about the world and finding treasures and loot.
This is all I have done,I have hardly touched the story or quest.
But saying this certain areas I believe will give you more if you fit the right criteria IE,on a quest or story related.

Yeah the first time I stumbled upon this giant was a nightmare.
I got him down to were he turned red (Frenzy state) and he killed me as I was also low on health potions and greens due to the fights in getting me here.
Also I was gutted as I had been fighting him for almost 10 min`s
But yeah those sniper guy`s on the cliffs were a nightmare to take out.
Every time I tried to get to a better advantage point I had to go pick my Magi`s up or my Warrior as they were just all getting sniped out.
As to answer your question ViralEnsign
I have got a lot of my gear from just roaming the lands and dropping on it.
Also I have a friend on XBL who as beaten the game twice so when he takes my pawn out she always comes back looking like the bomb with all new gear
I am very fortunate.
Although my main Strider I have kitted out by what I say, just buying and selling and searching the lands.
I know you may not agree but I am glad the world is not full with Armour and loot.
I think to much can make it feel false or to much arcade style rubbish.
But this is just my opinion I know everyone will have a different look upon this game and what they like and what they do not like.

I do not pay particular attention to where I pick or find the loot, half the time it is not even me picking it up its my pawns lol.
I would say get yourself some good strong pawns (fork out a bit on them) and then go exploring.
This is all I did and still do.I am trying not to finish the game to fast lol.
