I didn't know about Sif's "flop" if you let him limp around. This thread is really useful!

There can be no denying that when it comes to the Souls games the Developers attention to detail is truly awe inspiring at times, and the encounter with Sif is truly epic in this regard.

IMHO both DeS and DkS stand head and shoulders above everything else on the market, and puts many of the so-called great titles to shame, forcing them to stand in the corner wearing cone shaped hats with big red D's on their heads!

Power Within will increase the damage of kicks, but Red Tearstone and Dragon Roar will not.

I'm not sure, I just logged in and it seemed like the short "standing up" animation broke it, or maybe the game was just re-rendering the already broken pillar. Anyways, I didn't know those pillars could be broken.

to break pillars you just use force to blast a npc through them...

the other thing i found is that the zweihanders r2 has an aoe stagger effect around if for a very short range, that normally deals no damage, but if you buff the zwei it deals the buffs damage, often the aoe stagger and the regular r2 move hit together too or at least when i tested it on the slimes thus a buffed zwei gets an extra boost on its r2 (maybe only for the 2h r2 but...) because the buff is applied twice because the move hits twice.

The glory of the light crossbow. Had never used one until I started a low level run. That thing is a great weapon. A bit pricey for the bolts, but in some situations it can be a lifesaver. I just used it in the Pinwheel fight, and when he started spawing clones, it was a great way to whittle them down. At +7 it one shots the Balder Knights with wood bolts.

I didnt know untill recently that you can kill your self with your own pursures if you run into them.

I wish I could LOL I was using a fast roll and I went and did a jumping attack and landed into my own Crowndusk+dragoncrest ring+ red tearstone ring modified pursuers.

It was brutal the good news is he died to.

You could dodge arrows at the last second if you start to notch your arrow before the enemies arrow connects with the sideways body position. Along with a plethora of gestures.

Plunging attacks can connect twice based on the circumstances.

You can place a bow in your left slot and a normal buffable weapon in your right slot and when you ready your bow you can buff your weapon with resin while it's in it's sheath. It's handy for starting a pvp match. If you try to resheath it will extinguish though.

You can plunge attack with the bow equipped to your main hand.

Basilisks can't deal damage normally. All they do is curse.

The burg has GREAT ambush hidey holes. Also one of the most diverse pvp areas in elevation. (I honestly believe upper undead burg was designed with intentions of the other areas being as diverse. Examples: hidey holes, plethora of plunging attack ledges, multiple paths.

When the hit your enemy they have an area of effect dmg radius. thats how you can be hit by them, Also because a lag issues the can sometimes dmg the area that the enemy dodged out of.
