    Yesterday I discovered that you can be invaded while your summon sign is still down. I was in New Londo Ruins, SL207 or so.

    Usually my summon sign will disappear if I'm going to be invaded, but even after the guy was in my world, the text said "check your summon sign," so it wasn't somebody else's in the same place.

    I wonder what would have happened if someone would have summoned me during my fight. Would I leave my world? What would happen to the invader? Would he be stuck there or sent back to his world?

    Having both Fog and Hush ring equipped makes Tomb of Giant really easy. (on ng at least)
    You can even meelee your way to Large Divine Ember.

    Today I found out that Nito can put you in a time out corner. I've been farming him for co-op and last fight I was in, he used his left hand grab attack. But when he dropped me, it was in the middle of the stalagmite. So the rest of the fight I was stuck in a little prison while the host had to fight away. I did switch to a ranged weapon to do a few damage, but that wasn't the same.

    Well, I discovered not to try switching items while running at the beginning of New Londo Ruins, lol.
    But for real, I finally noticed that Ornstein is actually staggerable, in both forms. I never got the chance to do it until recently, with him dashing about and such. Plus he seems to have either have more poise than Smough, or it just seems as such because of how easy it is to stunlock Smough with three Fury Swords.

    Ornsy Wornsy can be staggered, I've done it with his spear before. Multiple times actually.

    Super Smough is harder than Super Ornstein.

    I have discovered that this thread gets derailed a sh*tton, and that we need a recent discovery thread in Off-Topic. Also, to prevent hypocricy, I learned that elemental weapons are much weaker than I originally thought.

    Elementals got nerfed pretty bad .
    8% less Damage for Chaos and 10 % less for Lightning .

    I almost always get to stagger Super Smough with a competent melee host, in fact the fight is boss is basically over as soon as it happens, since he basically gets stunlocked to death. I never have issues with Smough even going alone, since half of his most common moves miss me all the time.
    Also, does anyone know if the invasion cooldown time only counts to particular types of invaders? Been grinding Four Kings co-op, and had a host who was invaded by a spirit of vengeance at the very beginning, followed by a dark spirit after we just crossed the two bridges. No Dried Finger was used, but we spent a minute exchanging items. It was about 3-5 minutes between invasion notifications.

    I've noticed that after you go on a killing frenzy in the forest your invasion frequency lowers, Whether this be due to discouragement or in game mechanics I'm not sure, but it's there.

    Also sometimes you get stuck in Dark Souls limbo: where the fog wall stays up for eternity, and the bonfire never lights.

    I'm not sure if the invasion frequency is tied to this, but I did notice at a point while hosting the Depths event where I was just stuck with testspecimen as a summoned dark spirit with no red signs/invasions for a good five minutes, before we decided to fight, then quit and reload.
    I remember that while being invaded, there's a grace period where you can quit/reload by game menu, but it makes you incredibly likely to be invaded within a minute after the load screen.

    Maybe he just fought someone who had Solaire summoned in Anor Londo and he finally learned how f*cking overpowered Solaire is.

    Yeah he really does way too much. I once tried to duel a guy fairly, but fairly aggro'ed so i let him fight and Solair OHKO'ed him...at level ~60!

    Great recent find:

    If you summon solaire into the O&S fight, so long as you keep Smough distracted, Solaire will defeat Ornstein farily quickly. I have done this three times now, and each time Solaire handidly took him down.

    The invader stops to shrug, but Solaire goes directly for the backstap. I hurried into Gwyn arena in order to save this poor invader.

    I got invaded by a DW while afk, solaire distracted him for so long, he couldn't touch me once. They were still fighting when I got back on and saw him fighting.
