Well note that it is insanelyhard to do. The phantom did it to an afk forest invader.e. so yea, prob impossible to smeone who's moving.

Editing, you are correct. the second video shows the egg-head at full size (or I think so).

You can only infect others with the parasite if you are a member of the Chaos Covenant

I have infected a friend a week or two ago while being a +3 Chaos Servant , and Im sure I had not hit him often with the parasite because we were just duelling

Ive been told that others have tried testing the infection chance , while not being a chaos servant without succes.

According to a couple of users over at Prepare To Die forums, two guys tested fifty hits with no infection. However, neither were in the Servants of Chaos, so this means that it must be connected

Its time to spread suffering. The theme this week is infection, and as such, you shall all don your egg heads and spread the infection.
This is also a method of testing whether the egg head does infect based on covenant rank (I'm pretty close to postitive it does), and could bring the great answer as to what the Chaos Servants improves in game. Simply do your best to infect another player, and message them asking if they became infected. If they say yes, take a picture, PM it to me, and you got yourself a point. THe one with the most amount of points gains access to tier 2 rankings and possibly a slab of their choosing if I can get away with it.
Warning: This will not start till monday next week, so any submissions before then are void!

What do our veteran egg jockeys to do counteract the increased fire damage you seem to take? I'm excited at making a chaos servant build for this, but with all the GC pyromancers out there it seems destined to be really annoying. Maybe flash sweat, lots and lots of flash sweat? I've also run into a few egg heads in Anor Londo and they went up like torches from just a few hits of my chaos balder side sword (ironically).

Try to keep as much humanity as possible in the counter because it also boosts resistances., it might cap at 30 but Im not sure at the moment.

I don't use flash-sweat on my egghead myself , because he just loves to chew on green moss

I don't mean to bragg , but I can't say I feel like I'm at a major disadvantage at all during duels, Offcourse there are random asshats who will start spamming combustion on you

in PvP the most troubling thing is indeed a fire weapon or a weapon buffed with charcoal resin ,

Pyro projectiles & area of effect spells are not really a big issue at all , because you try to evade & or punish them at all times anyway

But really skilled pure pyro's are a trouble to deal with while using any build haha

On my egg user, it had a bunch of toxins and sunlight blade, and the one before had flash sweat, rapport, and other spells.

The eggs are good at looking good... If you got the right uniform. The fire damage increase was never seen much at all.

The third stage includes an extra 3 slot to attunement, 50%- Soul obtainment (all souls go to eggs), the addition of a miniature poison mist from the worm animation, and the egg begins to create a collar that Adds three grubs for the kick animation, while Eggs begin to grow larger and larger.

I might consider ditching the dusk crown for some more chaotic fire goods... just depends on if I think my DPS will be harmed too much by loosing the crown.
What are your thoughts? How many souls does Stage 3 take?

It doesn't exist, I made that up.

I haven't played an egg user for over two months... and dark souls for almost a week and half.

Of course, I think it would be useful for magic users... especially Pyromancers. Add some extra chaos flame whips, poison mists, and a few more slots of flash sweat and undead rapport.

Add the white and darkmoon seance ring, and you will have 15... add a dusk crown ring, and you will have about 22.5 attunements... add a few poison mists, with the player able to have 2 slots (6 casts each one) in one playthrew. Add five, you have 10. Add 3 more plays, and you fill all slots and one more with the egg. With there being 8 plays, you got 16 poison mists, 8 toxic mists, and 8 acid surges. Add dusk crown ring, and it multiplies by 50%. that would be 24 poison mists, 12 toxic mists, and 12 acid surges.

There are 6 casts of poison mists... fill all 15 slots and have dusk crown ring, and have 90 casts... for toxic 12... for acid 24.

Now do that with fire surge. Has 80 casts an attunement. Add 15 attunements worth of fire surge. 80 times 15 equals 1200. With dusk crown ring, you got 22.5 slots worth. 80 times 22.5 equals 1800.

I say, it would be a nightmare of a gravelord... no use of bonfire, and just use spells to obliterate enemies again and again. combustion has 16 casts an attuenement. Great Combustion has 8. Do the math, and add the Great Fireballs and other things...

A pyromancer would be most overpowered with the use of magic. Sorceries as well... Have 15 sunlight blades, along with dusk crown ring, and have 22 sunlight blades. worried about buff running out. Nope, you got 22.

10 slots is still overpowers with the dusk ring, noone ever uses this under-appreciated ring. I got a build in PvP using it right now... I want live to test it out...

Used Dusk Crown Ring. I have made a character solely established on it. My first character, my pyromancer. Although I had about only 300 vitality... I had been added as a friend by about 4 people with that character helping people against the golden boys... with standard pyromancer armour unupgraded with a raw hand axe.

Nostalgic? Meh. My other builds that used Dusk Crown Ring was better at it.
